NBA 2K26‘s athlete stats determine how effective they are on the court, and having pace on their side will be helpful across all situations. There are some speed demons in this year’s game, but let’s look at the twenty quickest superstars in this year’s database.

To determine who is fast, I have used the Speed metric. However, I have also added Speed with the Ball rating as well. There are some important notes to remember:

• Only players in the NBA have been considered.
• Former legends haven’t been included.
• The current version of the superstars has been considered.
• The database evaluated is the official one from NBA 2K.

The table above certainly has a surprising look, as many of the elite-level superstars of the current NBA era are absent. Instead, most of these names are from this year’s draft class and the previous one. Most athletes with a good Speed stat rating also have good numbers on the Speed with the Ball stat.

Sacramento Kings’ Devin Carter has the highest Speed rating for this year’s default database, followed by Jamal Shead and De’Aaron Fox. If you’re strictly going with fast options with high overall ratings, Anthony Edwards is the best choice, followed by Donovan Mitchell and Ja Morant.
