We may be four months into 2025, but the 2024 award season is just now finishing up. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts–better known as BAFTA–held its 2024 Games Awards this week, with awards across 17 categories up for grabs throughout the night.
Leading up to the show, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II led the pack with 11 nominations, while Astro Bot and indie thriller Still Wakes the Deep tied for second with eight nominations apiece. Other games with multiple nominations include Thank Goodness You’re Here, Black Myth: Wukong, Helldivers II, Animal Well, Balatro, and more. All of the winners are listed below.
The BAFTA’s awards are voted on by its members, who experienced games industry staff with a range of backgrounds in development and production. Members also vote on one honoree to be given the BAFTA Fellowship Award, with the 2024 award going to tenured game composer Yoko Shimomura.
