43.8 million player votes later, the winners of the 2025 Steam Awards have been announced, with Hollow Knight: Silksong securing top prize, Game of the Year.
Team Cherry’s eagerly anticipated sequel beat off competition from Arc Raiders, Dispatch, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to secure the top prize, while Silent Hill f won Outstanding Visual Style Award and Arc Raider’s won Most Innovative Gameplay.
Hades 2 won Best Game on Steam Deck, Dispatch Outstanding Story-Rich Game, while Clair Obscur won Best Soundtrack.
Split Fiction, Battlefield 6, Where Winds Meet, Elden Ring: Nightreign, and Eurogamer’s 2025 Game of the Year, Blue Prince, went away empty-handed.

ICYMI, Arc Raiders was Steam’s biggest-selling game over the holiday period. SteamDB recently revealed that the biggest-selling games by revenue on the digital platform from 23rd-30th December were Arc Raiders, Battlefield 6, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, respectively.
