A new Kagurabachi anime has been hinted at for a while now, but with a new web domain registered in its name, it seems the deal has officially been sealed, and it’s only a matter of time until the anime is officially confirmed. If the anime is already in the works, it is highly likely to drop in 2026 and become one of the biggest new anime series.

As many fans have noted already, a new web domain, Kagurabachi.jp, was recently registered, and there is little reason for this outside of an anime adaptation.

Usually, new web domain registrations mean an anime adaptation is on the way. Kagurabachi’s anime could be announced anytime now, with CygamesPictures likely behind the project. While not as big a name as Madhouse or Ufotable, CygamesPictures has produced notable works such as Uma Musume and The Summer Hikaru Died.

But, there is one upcoming event that will likely reveal the release date for Kagurabachi’s anime, and that’s Jump Festa 2026. If production for the anime has already begun, it’s possible the anime could premiere as early as 2026.
