2XKO‘s Ranked mode is the epitome of competition that you can expect from Riot’s new fighting game.
Ranked is now live in early access after the game’s launch on PC, and you can take part in it to prove your mettle. The Ranked ladder is divided into different ladders, and matches are based across tiers. This guide will explain the complete Ranked system to you.
All 2XKO Ranked system divisions
The ranked ladder in 2XKO is divided into ten different divisions. All divisions, barring Grandmaster and Master, have three tiers each.
- Aspirant
- Iron
- Bronze
- Silveer
- Gold
- Platinum
- Emerald
- Diamond
- Master
- Grandmaster
- Challenger
Every player begins in Aspirant when they start playing 2XKO. This is the lowest division on the Ranked ladder, and matches are straightforward. The same also applies to Iron. If you know the very basics of fighting games, you should be able to get into Bronze.
Once you’re in Bronze, you’ll need to learn the combos and master them gradually. Matches from Platinum become really hard since you’ll have to master the advanced mechanics. Of course, the difficulty rises slowly as you win more games and move up the ranks.
How to move up ranks in 2XKO
Your Ranked journey begins with five placement matches. The placement matches and your performance in them decide your starting division. Next, your task of moving up the rank begins. To move up a tier (not a division), you’ll need to get 100 RP.
You get RP when you win a match. Similarly, you lose RP when you lose a match. Getting 100 RP is required to move up the tiers. Naturally, it’s a lot easier to rank up when you’re in the lower divisions. You’ll come across better opponents at higher ranks, and the penalty for a loss is far more significant.
