The practice of trades in Crimson Desert offers you a consistent route to earn currency, but it’s not as easy as just reaching a vendor and selling your products. Instead, you’ll first need to get a wagon, which will then allow you to package goods.
Let’s look at how the process works so that you can start trading packaged goods in the game.
How to get a wagon in Crimson Desert
When you’re acquiring loot in Crimson Desert, you’ll find some that have a blue background in the inventory. These are trading goods that you can’t sell in the market. To sell them, you’ll also need to package them (more on that later), but first, you need to get a wagon.
You can always steal a wagon, but they have a limited use-case scenario. You can only sell them at Black Market vendors for money. To get a usable wagon, you’ll need to progreess till the ‘A Rumor in Glenbright Farm‘ questline. Complete the quest, and you’ll unlock Brice, who acts as your wagon manager.
Speak with Brice and complete his request, which will allow you to craft your wagon. You’ll need the following items.
- 10 Comrades/Freeswords
- At least one Engineering skill
Start the dispatch mission, and wait for the preparations to complete. You’ll then get your wagon. Return to Brice to complete the quest, and you’ll have the wagon permanently available in your camp. Once done, you can now start your trades.
How to package goods in Crimson Desert
For trade, you can only sell packaged goods. Unpackaged goods are untradeable by default, and they can’t be used in any trades. To craft tradeable package goods, speak with Carl. You’ll need 100 camp funds per item, or convert 1000 camp resources for one Packaged goods.
If you want to sell unpackaged goods, you’ll need to find a Black Market vendor.
How to sell packaged goods in Crimson Desert
Speak with Brice to access the wagon management menu. You can now load packaged goods and take them to the Trading Post. There are two main trading posts.
- Goldleaf Guildhouse: South of Unicorn Cliff in Hernand.
- Royal Trading Post: Northern regions of Hernand Castle.
It’s important to learn which items have demand among buyers. Since the prices of the items can change dynamically, try to time your sales correct. If you do that, you’ll be able to make more profits from your trades.
