If you were scared of big cats then the Feiopars in Lethal Company are your worst nightmare. This feline foe is tired of chasing around Manticoils. An unsuspecting bipedal meal is exactly what the Feiopar needs, but getting it is tough when Company employees know exactly how this v80 entity works.
Here’s how to deal with the Feiopar in Lethal Company v80 beta.
Where to find Feiopars in Lethal Company
Though they’re somewhat hard to find, the Feiopar spawns exclusively on the forest moons. These are Adamance, March, and Vow. This creature needs a dense forest biome to use as camouflage as it is a stalking entity, similar to the Bracken. Unlike the Tulip Snake or Giant Sapsucker, the Feiopar has a rarer spawn chance of appearing. Unless you’re visiting Adamance, you should run into Feiopars by themselves, rather than dealing with multiple species at once. This is because forest moons are either a threat level C or B, making them an easier exterior to manage than habitats with Eyeless Dogs, Forest Keepers, and Old Birds.
Feiopar behavior

The Feiopar is a stalking entity that works similarly to the Bracken, though its rules are far simpler. This panther-looking creature typically spawns alone. Audio is crucial with understanding how the Feiopar works. You will likely hear it before seeing it. The Feiopar growls when it’s nearby, utilizing the surrounding trees to dip and dive between to try and hide from you as it inches closer. The goal is to get close enough that it can pounce, but it won’t if you keep noticing it.
Feiopars have one attack and that’s to use its claws and lunge at you. This attack doesn’t last nearly as long as the Sapsucker’s, but it can kill you incredibly fast. Just like Bracken, the Feiopar hates being looked at. If you approach it fast, sees what you’re doing as aggressive, or if you attempt to attack it, the Feiopar will retreat into the canopy by climbing the nearest tree. It will then leap from tree to tree, moving away from the player until they lose sight of it.

The cycle repeats until it’s confident you’ve forgotten about or lost it. Only then will it slowly approach by hiding behind trees until it is close enough to pounce. The Feiopar can and will jump on you if you’re standing directly underneath the tree it is currently posted up in. If you haven’t heard the Feiopar’s growls, look out for its glowing green eyes and movement behind the treeline.
Solutions to dealing with the Feiopar in Lethal Company

The Feiopar is only aggressive to oblivious employees. It cannot and will not attack if it knows you are looking directly at it. Approaching it slowly or keeping it within your line of sight (but not directly on it) will be seen as an invitation to attack. You must intimidate the Feiopar to keep it away. Running at one, shining a light directly at it, or confidently walking towards a Feiopar hiding behind a tree will force it to climb and flee. So, be on the lookout and try not to stand still. Listen to its growls to tell you when its within a five-meter range from your location.
Act aggressive when you see the Feiopar as if you were trying to intimidate and appear strong in front of a Grizzly Bear. The Feiopar is less likely to attack people in groups and actively pursues isolated humans that appear “weak.” Though the Feiopar can submerge in shallow water, it seems to be scared of the Flashlight and won’t enter the ship. It will however, get super aggressive and move fast if you camp the ship’s roof so avoid standing on this when one spawns in.

Forcing the Feiopar to retreat into the trees, then going in the opposite direction from where it went will give you time to move between the ship and main entrance. Make sure you only approach the Feiopar confidently and aggressively to force it into the trees, after which you shouldn’t stand underneath any you suspect a Feiopar might be hiding in. Finally, you can charge and whack the entity three times with the Shovel right before it climbs a tree. That way there’s no risk of activating its pounce attack.
