So, many Marvel Rivals players chose to make Jeff even cuter by getting him the fluffy pink skin. As it turns out, even though something looks out, it isn’t always the best choice.

Ah, Jeff… He can be as helpful as he is adorable. Being a Strategist, he has a lot of responsibilities. However, that doesn’t stop him from being fashionable, nor should it. Jeff has some great costumes in his wardrobe, one of which has recently become quite controversial.
The Incognito Dolphin skin has recently become a big topic in the Marvel Rivals community, as Jeff enthusiasts professed they couldn’t stand using it. This costume, which is a part of a bundle, is said to be too big to be usable.
One player, Deva_Way, noted: “Bought this Jeff skin with all of my free points and didn’t know it was pay-to-lose. Mf takes half the screen, feels terrible”. Some Redditors corrected the OP by saying the skin wasn’t pay-to-lose but “pay-to-cute”.
Marvel Rivals Players Point Out That a Skin Can Have a Huge Effect
This entire situation prompted a much bigger discussion on how the skins could have a huge impact on the gameplay. Being huge and pink made Jeff an easy target, and some players enjoy hunting him down.
Insane1rish stated: “This skin also definitely increases the like auto aggro that the other team will have on Jeff. I swear people see Jeff with this skin and will chase him across the map just to lose the objective”.
However, some clever players found a way to use this to their advantage. As cruel as it sounds, some teams use Jeff wearing his Incognito Dolphin Costume as bait. BinkaGoBOOP noted: “Also comes with the ability to distract the enemy team and have 3 of them jumping around with you while your team kills the rest”. True Jeff fans aren’t necessarily fans of that strategy, as a player could easily be bullied into sacrificing themself, which isn’t fair.
However, if you prefer fashion over function, you do you. We don’t really mind that we see less with Jeff in this Costume as we still manage to get around. As you probably know, the Marvel Rivals devs’ philosophy is that everyone should enjoy this game in their own way, so if you enjoy your Jeff in a fluffy pink skin, go for it.
