The Kuku Lightning-Resistant Armor requires you to kill a literal lightning god, but it’s extremely worth it, as the armor itself has high defense, a passive bonus in Attack Speed for your weapons, and makes you practically immune to lightning attacks, so you’ll never be stunned again.

The Kuku Lightning-Resistant Armor also has a unique effect in which lightning is absorbed and stored, and anyone who hits you will be electrocuted. Below, we’ll share the entire process of acquiring this armor, from the blueprint to the ingredients needed.

How to Get the Kuku Lightning-Resistance Armor Blueprint in Crimson Desert

You’ll need to first meet with the Witch of Strength to unlock the Sanctum of Expiation. (We have a guide for meeting her here).
Once acquired, head to the Sanctum of Expiation, which is north of the “D” in “Demeniss”, and tagged on the map above.
Liberate the area and cleanse the sanctum (which we have a guide on here), where you will then be gifted the Kuku Lightning-Resistance Armor Blueprint by Areciel in a cutscene.

How to Craft the Kuku Lighting-Resistance Armor in Crimson Desert

Core of Penitence	Solve the riddle at the Sanctum of Penitence.

How to Get the Lightning Bolt Plate Armor

To begin, you’ll need the Lightning Bolt Plate Armor, which you can get by defeating Titan.
In order to find and beat Titan, you will need to progress through Pailune Faction Quests until you get the “Stjar Clan” tab unlocked.

How to Get the Core of Penitence

Head southeast of Hernand, above the Steel Mountains, to find the Sanctum of Penitence (on the map above).
After cleansing the sanctum (guide here), you can face the blue crystal piece on the sanctum itself and use Blinding Flash to solve a puzzle.
Use Blinding Flash on the middle blue crystal every time the pointer is on a blue square on the outer dial.
Once the full rotation has been completed, the Core of Penitence will drop from above the sanctum, and you can grab it with Axiom Force and place it into your Kuku Pot.

How to Get the Power Core – Ore of Resipiscence

You’ll need to defeat Stone Worm enemies found across different regions, usually protecting Abyss Nexus (fast travel points).
We’ve tagged the location of one of these worms above, but the Power Core they drop is entirely random.
We recommend creating a save file and reloading if you do not get the Power Core you need.
It’s also worth noting that you need the Kuku Pot to get the Power Core, as you must take it with Axiom Force and seal it in the Kuku Pot.

What Does the Kuku Lightning-Resistant Armor Do in Crimson Desert?

The Kuku Lightning-Resistant Armor can be refined, but it cannot use Abyss Gears.
However, this armor does come with Lightning Resistance Lv 10, which makes you practically impossible to stun.
This armor also absorbs and stores lightning damage, and when fully charged (indicated by the glowing armor), you have a 10-second buff in which any attack received will unleash powerful lightning damage against enemies.
The fully upgraded Kuku Lightning-Resistant Armor offers 38 Defense and Lv 3 Attack Speed.
