“Masters of Ceremony Is Just for Aura Farming” Helldivers 2 Players Expected More From the Latest Warbond

It’s finally here, and it’s oh so pretty! However, the latest leaks showed the invasion of Super Earth, thus some players claim the Warbond lacks substance. Nobody, except maybe General Brasch, can fight off the Squids with just a Saber or a Flag. So, how does the Helldivers 2 community truly feel about the freshly released Masters of Ceremony Warbond?

The New Warbond Is Live!

On May 15, Baskinator, the Community Manager, announced that the long-awaited, but somewhat controversial, Warbond was available. She noted: “Helldivers, Masters of Ceremony is now live! Get the parade started”.

As you know, ever since it was announced on May 8, the Masters of Ceremony Warbond has been quite a popular and polarizing topic in the community. On one hand, the drip is phenomenal! But, on the other hand, looking good costs a pretty penny.

Some Helldivers 2 Players Hate the Masters of Ceremony…

Surprisingly enough, Helldivers either absolutely adore or despise the new Warbond. As always, let’s start off with the bad and finish with the good. So, first of all, many players noted that the primary weapon, the Amendment, was actually quite bad.

NEZisAnIdiot stated: “Amendment just sucks. The warbond was honestly disappointing, but I was holding onto my last hope. The Amendment looked awesome and seemingly fit my preferred playstyle. And holy hell. Light pen was disappointing, but not the end of the world. But my god the ergonomics SUCK A**. It could’ve been a niche diligence sidegrade, but it has TWICE less ergonomics than deadeye”.

Another disappointing item was the Flag Stratagem, especially the 8-minute cooldown. One player, im_a_mix, reported: “I was so excited to bring it into lobbies and show absolute democracy to the enemies by waving it in their faces! But the damage of it being the same as the secondary spear, the cooldown of it, and it being packaged in with so many undesirable items in the same warbond makes me want to skip it”.

Saphonis explained: “The primary problem with this warbond is that everything meant to have utility is just a worse version of something that already exists”. Thus, we expect many players will be hesitant to get this Warbond.

… Dripdivers Love It

Of course, some players, especially the ones who are all maxed out, love the Warbond solely for the drip. Creeeamy stated: “‘The armour passive is bad!’ True! However, I stopped caring about armour passives 200 hours ago. I’m playing Fashion Souls now”.

And, let’s be honest, the Saber is quite fun. One player said: “I also had a sword fight with an Overseer, I won. That was the most fun I had in Helldivers EVER, just running to an Overseer and killing him the old-fashioned way, what a dream”.

So, dear Helldiver, if you are fashion-inclined, go for it! However, if you are looking for some weapons to help you with the Illuminate, well, good luck. Another update is rumored to drop on May 20. Maybe the devs will make some adjustments, maybe we’ll even find out what happened to our favorite Service Technician. Still, we should all focus on the current Major Order, so we’ll meet you on Widow’s Harbor. For Liberty and Super Earth.
