How Imu’s Ambition Backs Up His Haki
Out of all the Haki users that Oda has shown and fleshed out properly in the Final Saga so far, Nerona Imu stands at the top, and this makes sense based on how Haki truly works. At its core, Eiichiro Oda explains Haki as pure ambition and willpower in Chapter 596. It is said that Supreme King Haki is only wielded by those who have kingly ambition. Nerona Imu is the King of the World, and Kings don’t get bigger than that. In that sense, it is understandable why Eiichiro Oda gave Imu the strongest Haki in the Final Saga.
