“Get to The Fortress!” The First Descendant Players Have a Rare Opportunity to Complete The Fortress Invasion Award on May 20

After a long while, the Fortress Invasion is active on May 20, and The First Descendant players have a rare opportunity to complete its Award.

TFD has Awards that reward you with Prefixes and Suffixes (and occasionally Emotes and similar rewards) for completing specific tasks. These are usually “Do this X times”, but some are more engaging. For example, the infamous “Find all Records” Award requires you to meticulously comb over the whole of Ingirs to find all 129 Records. However, some are a bit harder to achieve, since they can only be done at a specific time. 

There is an Award that requires you to complete Invasions in the Fortress 10 times. This is quite tricky for two reasons. First, you can only do an Invasion run two times per instance. Second, Fortress invasions are pretty rare.

On May 20, the Vulgus Invasions came to the Fortress, allowing many players to advance their Award progress and hopefully complete it. The Invasion, as usual, will last for one day, May 20 (and a part of May 21, depending on your timezone).

Every Invasion has a “penalty” tied to it, and this Fortress Invasion reduces your High-Power Rounds damage by 36.2% “when hitting Monsters”.

So, for all Awards hunters out there, this is your chance! While you need to complete this Invasion 10 times in order to get the Achievement, every step counts.
