In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll encounter all kinds of tough missions to work through, especially in Star Path events. Many of the quests you need to tackle in these events are disguised with vague clues, as is the case with the hint that mentions one who sees the colors of the wind.
There are all kinds of unique descriptors and hints for different villagers featured throughout every Star Path event, so it can be pretty tough to figure out what each one means, especially if it’s been a bit since you’ve watched the movies these characters come from. If this hint has you stumped, here’s who the one who sees the colors of the wind is in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
One who sees the colors of the wind in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The one who sees the colors of the wind is Pocahontas in DDV. This descriptor is a reference to the song “Colors of the Wind,” which is featured in the movie Pocahontas. If you haven’t seen this film in a while, you may struggle to figure out who is being referenced here. Even if you think this might match another villager, though, only Pocahontas works for any duty that references this.
Chat with one who sees the colors of the wind in Disney Dreamlight Valley
For the chat with one who sees the colors of the wind duty in the Elements of Nature Star Path event, you need to have one daily discussion with Pocahontas. You can accomplish this by finding her, interacting with her, and selecting the text option that appears next to the speech bubble icon. This text changes each time you chat with her, but the icon is always displayed to make finding it easier.
Each villager only has one discussion available per day, so if you already had a conversation with Pocahontas prior to unlocking this task, you’ll have to wait until the next day to get it done. You get a whopping 90 Tokens for this very easy mission, so it’s certainly one that’s worth checking off as soon as possible.
Hang out with one who sees the colors of the wind in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You’ll also encounter two different tasks that ask you to hang out with one who sees the colors of the wind during the Elements of Nature Star Path event. For both missions, you need to spend time with Pocahontas.
The first version of this quest is a standard duty you’ll run into while working your way through the main event duty page. For this one, you need to spend 30 minutes hanging out with her to claim 100 Tokens.
The second version of this quest is a routine duty that asks you to spend 60 minutes with Pocahontas to earn 25 Tokens. It’s more time for fewer tokens, but if you want to earn those Star Path Vault rewards, completing it is a must.
Although these two missions are separate, you can technically progress both at the same time. To do so, don’t tackle the routine duty until you get to the standard version of this quest in the event. The regular version of this mission unlocks after completing about 80 duties, so you have to work through quite a lot of them to reach this point.

Once you’re ready to get to work on this task, find Pocahontas and ask her to hang out with you. You can then do whatever you like to pass the time. A good way to make the most of this time is by performing whatever task you have her assigned to specialize in, whether it be gardening, mining, or something else entirely.
You can also run around and work through her friendship quests, like A Little Algae Problem or A Raccoon’s Return. All of her friendship missions require you to interact with her frequently, which is much easier to do when she’s glued to your side.
Quests that ask you to hang out with villagers in Star Path events are notoriously glitchy, as the time doesn’t really track properly. Be patient with it, as it tends to update randomly rather than keeping a consistent track of how long you’ve spent with a villager. If you notice that the time isn’t moving after a while, though, end the hang out session and start it again to see if that fixes it.
If this still doesn’t work, try completely reloading the game. And if all else fails, leave DDV running in the background while you’re hanging out with Pocahontas. Focus your time elsewhere, then check back after a while, and it should be complete.
