Disarm an enemy by shooting a weapon from their hand

You will automatically get this achievement in The Needle’s Eye when you are trained to disarm an enemy by shooting their hands with a gun.

When you get “License to Kill” in combat, shoot an enemy in both legs, and they should fall down.

Short fuse

Shoot an enemy while he’s throwing a grenade

When you get “License to Kill” in combat, hide behind cover, and an enemy will eventually throw a grenade, which you can use Focus (L3) to slow time and shoot the grenade mid-air. The Ambush checkpoint in “The Past Never Dies” is a good place to try.

Hold R2 to rush, and you can push an enemy directly into a fire extinguisher on the wall. There are many areas with fire extinguishers, but the Laundry checkpoint in “All the Time in the World” has a few early on.

You can get the Laser Strap in “The Past Never Dies”, and you’ll quickly enter “Licensed to Kill” combat in the Scorpius Deal, so just equip the Laser Strap to your gadgets and use it on an armed enemy.

Make an enemy taser another enemy

During the “Uninvited” story mission, trespassing in the Security Room will have enemies with tasers. They will aim their weapons, and the blue light indicates where the taser will be fired.

Tackle an enemy over a ledge

Hold R2 on an enemy and continue to hold R2 as you rush off a ledge. This is easily done in the TacSim’s Advanced Close Combat Training Tier 2: The Test.

Always have an exit plan

Use a gadget to escape a confrontation

When trespassing, you can intentionally walk into Watchers so that they confront you. Instead of using a bluff, you can press L1 to enter the Q-Lens and use a gadget to distract them.

Complete an Escalation in TacSim

Escalations are found in “Tactical Simulations” from the Main Menu. Advanced Tactical Training Tier 1 is extremely easy, as it’s quite literally a tutorial on how to use a gun.

The readiness is all

Beat tier 3 of an Escalation in TacSim

Also in “Tactical Simulations”, you’ll want to complete Tier 1 of an Escalation to unlock Tier 2, then complete that to get Tier 3. Advanced Tactical Training will be the easiest, as these are three tiers to teach you how guns work.

What if…?

Complete an Operation in TacSim

Operations are available in “Tactical Simulations” from the Main Menu, but they will only unlock after you’ve beaten the Main Story. As of launch day, Operations are only certain combat and stealth sections from the Main Story with unique objectives.

Keep moving forward

Achieve clearance level 3

You can get Level 3 Clearance from “Tactical Simulations” simply by completing Escalations and Operations.
