A New Death Stranding 2 Trailer Just Dropped, Showing Some Awesome Visuals and a Bit of Gameplay

We’re getting more and more! Kojima just dropped a new trailer for Death Stranding 2, showing some awesome visuals and a bit of gameplay.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is the highly anticipated sequel to Hideo Kojima’s 2019 genre-defying title, Death Stranding. Set in a post-apocalyptic America and Australia ravaged by supernatural phenomena known as the “Death Stranding,” the sequel continues the story of Sam Bridges (“played” by Norman Reedus) as a Porter in this world.

The sequel has been teased for a while now, and the release date is getting closer. Almost every day, we get some new bits of info about it. Only recently, the fans realized that the cutscenes will have a cool QoL feature and that you’ll be able to pause them if need be. And now, only recently, a new trailer was released.

New Death Stranding 2 Trailer Shows Incredible Visuals and Gameplay Details

On June 11, PlayStation released a new trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The trailer is a bit longer than three minutes and shows the absolutely stunning visuals, as well as some gameplay shots.

As we can see, Sam will once again be traversing through forests, deserts, snow-capped mountains, and through running water, each with its own perils. And let’s not forget the cool-looking robotic adversaries that we’ll have to fight, as well as various vehicles that were shown in the trailer. Keen-eyed players noticed that in DS2, you can use the grappling hook while in the vehicle to grab stuff. In the first game, you had to exit your vehicle every time, so this is a useful little improvement.

Unsurprisingly, the fans are more excited than before (if that is possible). “Day 1 Purchase, no regrets,” said GTALeonidaClips on the trailer’s comment section, and “Looks incredible,” simply added SpawnPoiint.

Death Stranding 2 is set to release on June 26, with those who pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition will have a two-day early access, from June 24. It is getting closer!
