Playground Games has announced some post-launch DLC for Fable, months out from its release date in February of next year.
Fable: Order of the Hero will add a new region to the game, this “story-driven expansion” has you discover the mystery behind a cult hidden in Albion.
Instead of wiping them out, you’ll be able to lead the cult in your chosen direction. Be it heroic, naughty, or something else, you’ll become their overseer and determine the future of this strange group.
Being announced so far before launch, there’s no word on when exactly this will be released, nor the price of this DLC. In fact, the Fable trailer released at the Xbox Games Showcase last night didn’t appear to cover it, so it’s peculiar timing.
In addition, there will be an extended look at Fable gameplay released to the public this Wednesday, 10th June. So this seems to have turned into a big week for Fable fans, all things considered.
