Anyone who gains a Quirk in My Hero Academia has immense potential to become a hero or a villain. These Quirk users can be emitters, shapeshifters, or heteromorphs, further differentiating them from one another. Obviously, the stronger someone’s quirk is, the more responsibility comes with wielding it.
My Hero Academia: 8 Strongest Quirks In Vigilantes
The Vigilantes spinoff of My Hero Academia introduces plenty of powerful new quirks into the story.
Over the course of eight seasons, My Hero Academia introduced countless powerful Quirks, but only a handful could be considered genuinely god-tier. While most of these powers could destroy cities in a heartbeat, some are even more terrifying because of their extraordinary effects.

Erasure Turns Strong Fighters Into Ordinary Humans
Erasure is not a lethal Quirk by any means. It couldn’t blow anyone to pieces or destroy cities in an instant in My Hero Academia. However, the effect of Erasure is one of the most disruptive in battle, and there’s nothing quite like it.
As long as Eraserhead keeps his eyes locked on a target, he can nullify their Quirk. With his specialized eye drops, Eraserhead can prolong the effects of his Quirk-erasing ability, leaving his targets in their most vulnerable state.

Anivoice Would Be Terrifying in the Wrong Hands
Had Koji Koda sided with the League of Villains, his Anivoice would have been the perfect Quirk to cause widespread chaos. With his power, he can command all kinds of animals, including insects and pests, to easily overpower his foes as long as they are within range.
Imagine fighting a Quirk user who can suddenly command a swarm of bees or even a raging herd of bulls, and you’ll see why this could cause some major problems. Fortunately, Koji is one of the most polite characters in the series, being so pure and kind-hearted that he avoids violence whenever possible.

Dark Shadow Can Spiral Out of Control
It’s no secret that darkness users are immensely powerful in most shonen anime series, and Fumikage Tokoyami, who wields the Dark Shadow Quirk, is no different. His Quirk is unlike any other, since Dark Shadow is a living creature that feeds on the shadows and the darkness itself.
Dark Shadow fights on Tokoyami’s behalf and becomes increasingly aggressive in combat under the right conditions. In total darkness, Dark Shadow’s power becomes immeasurable, so much so that even Tokoyami is often at risk of losing control.

Weather Manipulation Can Trigger Natural Disasters
Nine from the My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising film is one of the most dangerous villains that Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo fought together. His Quirk, Weather Manipulation, is leagues above most villain quirks in the entire series, considering he can manipulate all types of weather without exception.
From summoning hurricanes and tornadoes to generating massive storms and even manipulating the wind itself, Nine has the perfect god-tier Quirk to wipe out civilizations and cause global destruction. If it weren’t for Bakugo and Izuku’s combined force, Nine would have succeeded in his ultimate goal.

Rewind Can End a Person’s Existence
Making Eri mad is one of the most foolish things anyone could do in My Hero Academia. Since her Rewind Quirk is heavily influenced by her emotions, Eri could potentially rewind anyone out of existence, erasing them with no hope of returning. Her ability even extends to rewinding a person’s genetics.
On the bright side, Eri’s Rewind Quirk is immensely beneficial to her allies. With her power, she could rewind Izuku’s injuries and even allow him to use Full Cowl 100% with little to no risk of recoil.

Overhaul Gives Instant Matter Control
With both arms and hands intact, the user can activate Overhaul to deconstruct or reform matter instantaneously and at will. Kai Chisaki, the iconic user of Overhaul, has shown how fearsome his quirk is in active combat multiple times.
By simply touching the ground, Kai created deadly constructs to overwhelm his foes, and with direct contact, he has reduced enemies to nothing but dust. Based on his mood, he might destroy a target completely or simply erase one of their body parts at random. Those who were on Kai’s good side also experienced the benefits of Overhaul. With his Quirk, he could easily heal his allies’ wounds, even going so far as to rearrange their bodies to save them.
4
Decay Leaves Almost No Room for Survival
Avoiding Tomura Shigaraki’s Decay Quirk is never easy. He’s incredibly agile, allowing him to catch his foes off guard and use Decay instantaneously. Once Tomura makes direct contact, it’s over for almost every character in My Hero Academia, unless they decide to cut off their affected body parts before the decay spreads and rots the body in the process.
Tomura only needs a single touch to activate Decay, with the Quirk’s potency scaling with his own strength. Initially, the rotting process was slow, but as Tomura’s power grew stronger, the faster the effects became, reducing victims to dust in the blink of an eye. Even non-organic beings aren’t safe from decay, making it one of the most lethal Quirks in the series.
3
New Order Grants Absolute Rule-Bending Powers
The power to impose rules on humans, objects, quirks, and incorporeal things alike is one of New Order’s benefits. This fantastical Quirk is unlike anything that Tomura Shigaraki has ever seen before, as New Order can easily remove air or even change its properties. She could even catch laser beams with her bare hands and convert their destructive energy into a massive spear to crush her enemies.
Furthermore, New Order granted Star and Stripe superhuman physical abilities, allowing her to rival even All Might at his peak by using the Quirk in her body. As soon as Star and Stripe touch a target and say its name, New Order can be activated instantly. While there are certain limitations to the quirk, it can’t be denied that New Order is overpowered.
2
All For One Is a Threat to the Entire Hero Society
Stealing someone’s Quirk in My Hero Academia is one of the cruelest things a villain can do, and Zen Shigaraki, through the All For One Quirk, has destroyed countless lives by stealing people’s powerful and useful abilities. Though All For One also allowed Zen Shigaraki to bestow quirks on ordinary humans, they often end up corrupted by their newfound power.
The All For One Quirk stands as a true foil to One For All, extending far beyond their contrasting names. With this god-tier ability, Zen Shigaraki corrupted Tomura Shigaraki, nearly killed All Might, and even pushed the heroes, including the most powerful professionals, to their limits.

One For All Becomes Stronger With Every Inheritor
Inheriting the One For All quirk comes with the responsibility of saving the world from country-level or even planetary-level threats. As a compounding quirk, One For All grows stronger with each generation of users, granting its current user access to the quirks of former holders enhanced with One For All’s stockpiled power.
As shown in the final season of My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya simultaneously used six Quirks, from Gearshift to Danger Sense. With all six quirks combined, Izuku fought Shigaraki Tomura on equal footing, even when his body could no longer keep up. In the end, One For All transformed into a world-saving power that viewers will never forget.
