Players Share Some Controversial Takes on Characters
We all have different preferences, and sometimes our preferences are quite peculiar. That’s completely fine, and having different opinions is normal. Still, some opinions are just too different from what is commonly accepted.
Let’s start off with some controversial opinions about certain characters. Vasdll stated: “Rocket isn’t bad AND he isn’t a heal bot. If you genuinely have less dmg than your other supports as Rocket, you’re a bad Rocket”. Though some players agreed, at least partially, the vast majority of players thought this statement was downright wrong.
Next up, Safe_Masterpiece_995, noted: “Hulk sucks like he’s so mid. But, he’s good in his ultimate and his team-up makes Iron Man Thanos. If Hulk didn’t make Iron Man Thanos and Strange mini Thanos then he’d be like Captain America tier”. Players truly took offense at this one. Agreeable_Net_4887 said: “Both Hulk and Cap are awesome tanks. You don’t know what you’re talking about”.
Finally, several players suggested that playing Cloak & Dagger wasn’t as easy as one might think. Now, this one truly exploded. Players who were Cloak & Dagger mains actually disagreed with this one. What do you think?
Marvel Rivals Fans Offer Some Generally Frowned Upon Opinions
Now that we’ve covered some hot takes about the individual characters, it’s time to explore some general controversial opinions that some of the Marvel Rivals players have. Truth be told, we didn’t expect to stumble upon these.
One player noted: “The character models are ridiculous. The men are all roid monsters, and the women are hyper-sexualized”. Surprisingly enough, we actually agree with this one. Sure, it’s a video game with superheroes, but some of them are just too much. However, the majority of players strongly disagreed with this statement.
Finally, the one hot take that truly threw us off was suggested by Acesseu. This player stated: “Supports are the worst players in the game. I should add context by saying in my experience of support players are the first to be toxic the first to tilt and blame everyone but themselves”. That’s quite a controversial statement, given that many Strategists claim they are the most useful character class.
