Everything New Coming In Sea of Thieves Season 20
The biggest addition in Season 20 is undoubtedly Custom Seas, a new mode that gives players complete freedom to create their own games and scenarios. Whether you want to set up a shooting challenge, organize a ship race, create social spaces, or simply fly around the world using the Free Camera mode, the tools available allow you to create almost anything you can imagine.
Players can also alter world settings, spawn items and enemies, enable world events, and create situations that may rarely happen during normal voyages.
Season 20 also introduces a World Event Raid Voyage experiment, allowing crews to jump into world event-focused activities with some of the best rewards available. These events can even provide the chance to obtain multiple Chests of Fortune, making them some of the most rewarding activities in the update.
Another major change is the refreshed Season Pass. Starting with Season 20, the progression track has been reduced to 50 levels while still offering cosmetics, rewards, and Ancient Coins. Players who purchase the Premium Plunder Pass will receive additional cosmetic items, with the final reward being the Greed’s Reach Cutlass.
Sea of Thieves is also celebrating the fifth anniversary of A Pirate’s Life, the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover story that introduced five unique Tall Tales to the game. As part of the celebration, players can replay any of the A Pirate’s Life Tall Tales between June 22 and the end of Season 20 to unlock the exclusive Sea King’s Cutlass as a reward.
Finally, Season 20 also comes with a calendar of new live events throughout the season, giving players even more activities and rewards to chase beyond the Custom Seas experience.
