“Jump Pack Hulks?!” Some New Units Joined the Jet Brigade, Leaving the Helldivers 2 Players Horrified

It’s going to be a long weekend, dear Helldiver! On June 26, the players who fought on the bot front noticed something peculiar. The Jet Brigade is back in Helldivers 2, and there are some new flying units. Yup, the jump pack Hulks have arrived, and so have the jump pack Devastators!

The Jet Brigade Welcomed Some New Units

It’s been around 12 hours since the players completed the previous Major Order. Even though the High Command hasn’t issued a new one, the players have a pretty good sense of what it could be. The Jet Brigade has returned once more, and they brought fierce backup.

As you know, botdivers have been asking for something big, like the Cyberstan offensive campaign. No one could have guessed that would happen would be the reinforced Jet Brigade.

For the last hour or so, social media has been overflowing with reports of jump pack Hulks and Devastators. Funnily enough, the jump pack Hulks were found in the game files as early as November 2024. Alongside, the leakers found jump pack Berserkers, but luckily, they haven’t been spotted on the bot front (at least yet).

Naturally, players shared various images of their interactions with the “new and improved” units. Sad-Needleworker-590 posted a ridiculously funny video in which the Helldiver can be seen jumping away from the Hulk, only for it to jump right next to the OP.

Helldivers 2 Players Have New Respect for the Bots

Obviously, the Helldivers 2 community had quite a strong reaction to new units in the Jet Brigade. Some found them interesting and challenging, while the rest found them terrifying. One thing is for sure – the bot front won’t be boring.

One player stated: “Great. As if hulks outrunning anyone who were not wearing light armor wasn’t enough. Now we have this”. MinuteWaitingPostman added: “Looks like unrestrained robocide is the only answer”.

Inkasters noted: “Called it, given the Squids finally had their Post-Super Earth winning streak broken by this last MO. Might be a Defensive MO if it’s the Jet Brigade, which makes it a shame that Eagle Storm’s probably not gonna be up for it at all”.

So, let’s face those pesky bots, even before the next MO starts. We’ll be on Curia for the time being, but you can also find the Jet Brigade on Vernen Wells and Bekvam III. Also, if you’re interested, don’t forget to participate in the Save the Children fundraiser! For Liberty and Super Earth.
