FPS title Empulse is coming soon to PC gamers worldwide, and we will be able to join the early access later this week. Developed by 1047 Games, the game intends to offer fast-paced 6v6 shooting action that also relies heavily on movement mechanics.
But first, let’s find out when the launch goes live.
Empulse release countdown
Empulse launches globally on Wednesday, June 24. Since it’s launching in early access, it will be available only on PCs for now. The countdown below will expire once the game goes live.
The countdown is based on the following times.

- 12am EDT
- 4pm UTC
- 5pm BST
- 6pm CEST
The times have been taken from SteamDB, and any change this late is unexpected. If that happens, I will duly update the new times on the guide.
What to expect from Empulse?
At its core, Empulse is a team-based shooter where two teams of six fight one another. However, shooting is only one aspect of the game. You have to outmaneuver and outgun your opponents on the streets of Freehold.
Take advantage of the walls to chain grapple swings and land mid-air kills on unsuspecting opponents. You can also use boost pads to holojump and strategically alter your location.
You and your team fight to take control of mechs, which will be the ultimate objective. Furthermore, you’ll find two of them at the center of the map, and the team in control will have a distinct advantage. The mechs are mighty, and they come with fully built kits. Not only do they have more damage potential, but you can also move and relocate quicker in a mech.
Since Empulse will be launching in early access, there will be plenty of new content coming in the future updates. You can also try out the demo that’s available on Steam to get an idea about what to expect from this upcoming shooter.
