Once you’ve cleared the initial parts of the Dark World in Deltarune Chapter 5, you’ll reach a stage where you’ll need to climb the vines. You’ll also encounter Mysterious Structure, but they will appear to be inactive.
To climb the vines and chase Flowery, you’ll need to activate the structures. To do so, you’ll need to find a feather that you get from defeating Aqua.
How to find Aqua in Deltarune Chapter 5
Go left from the “Exit” sign, and you’ll reach the diner. Take the door in the middle, and follow the path. You’ll come across a point where the path divides into two direction. Follow the path that goes right, and you’ll eventually reach a watering can.
Use the watering can to reveal as many paths as possible. Eventually, you’ll find a rock structure near one of the torii gates at the location. While you’ll lose the watering can, go through the opening in the rock structure. You’ll come across Aqua.
Once you defeat Aqua, you can then gain access to her feather. Keep following the path (there’s just one of them to follow), and you’ll eventually reach the Petal Feather.
This Feather allows you to activate the Mysterious Structures and change the terrain. You can now jump around like you do in a 2D Platformer. Reach the “Exit” logo and go right. You’ll find a Mysterious Structure to interact with.
Interact with the statue, and go to the room on your left. The vines that were there earlier will now be replaced by leaves that serve as platforms to jump on. Use your jump to reach all the way to the top and continue on your journey.
