The Mythic Goldfish has returned to the Fortnite loot pool in Chapter 7 Season 3, and this ultra-rare Mythic weapon is capable of defeating anyone in just one hit. The Mythic Goldfish is incredibly rare, spawning only in Fishing Spots and Rare Chests with a 0.04% chance, but when obtained, it holds power like no other. Here’s everything you need to know about its return.
Fortnite Runners: All Boss Locations in C7S3
Here’s where you can find all bosses in Fortnite Runners, along with the Mythic loot that they can drop!
How to Get the Mythic Goldfish in Fortnite
The Mythic Goldfish can be obtained from Golden Fishing Spots and Rare Chests around the Battle Royale island. These locations spawn randomly in pools of water, but you’ll find them most commonly in the rivers leading to the Zero Point in the center of the map.
Grab a Fishing Rod from a wooden barrel and use the Golden Fishing Spots, and if you’re incredibly lucky, you might just pull a Mythic Goldfish from the waters. Alternatively, you can farm Rare Chests in the hopes of a Mythic Goldfish dropping, which is a 0.04% chance.
What Does the Mythic Goldfish Do in Fortnite?
The Mythic Goldfish is a throwable weapon that deals 250 damage. If the Mythic Opponent hits any opponent in Build Mode or Zero Build, they will instantly be eliminated (or go down if you’re not playing solos). There is no way to stop the unlimited power of the Mythic Goldfish, unless, of course, you move out of the way.
Obtaining the Mythic Goldfish in itself is a feat like no other, as it’s incredibly rare. However, using it as a weapon can be risky, as it needs to be thrown and directly impact an enemy in order to defeat them. While you’re trying to time your close-range throw, the chances are that you’re going to be shot dead and returned to the lobby.
