Fiber in Palworld 1.0: How To Get It Fast To Mass Produce Wooden Boards

There are several ways to get Fiber in Palworld. You can use the Crusher, cut trees, or defeat/catch certain Pals. Among them, the most effective way to collect Fibers quickly is to cut trees and turn the Woods into Fiber using the Crusher. You can also farm Woods AFK by placing the Logging Site structure and assigning a Pal with a Lumbering Work Suitability.

How To Get Fiber in Palworld

There’s no structure where you can farm Fiber directly, but you can process 1 Wood into 2 Fibers using the Crusher or Cryogenic Crusher. Here’s the Work Suitability required for the assigned Pals:

Crusher: Watering Lv. 1
Cryogenic Crusher: Cooling Lv. 1 (also needs electricity)

The Cryogenic Crusher has more requirements and calls for more materials when you build it, but it has a Work Speed +100% bonus, meaning it’s more efficient than the basic Crusher.

You also get Fibers naturally in Palworld when you cut trees for Wood or Hardwood. This is not a bad method to collect Fiber, as you get Fibers directly when cutting the Wood, and you can process the Wood for Fibers later in base.

You can also get Fibers in Palworld by defeating or catching certain Pals. However, among the available methods, this is the worst if you’re planning to get Fibers in bulk.

Examples of Pals that drop Fiber are Hangyu and Hoocrates. Note that Hoocrates is a nighttime Pal, so you can’t catch it during the day.

Fiber In Palworld

During the Early Access of Palworld, Fiber easily gets stacked in your base since there aren’t a lot of things you can do with it. However, after the full release of Palworld 1.0, Fiber becomes a more significant resource, as you now need it to make Wooden Boards. This material is required in a ton of structures after the version 1.0 update.
