LEGO has announced that it’s releasing a huge Batman: Arkham Asylum set, complete with mini-figures of the masked hero and the game’s villains. Released back in 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum redefined the superhero genre with its calculated combat and an immersive setting that made the asylum feel both isolating and terrifying at times.
As a toy company, LEGO is no stranger to creating elaborate sets based on superhero franchises. In the past, LEGO released a Batmobile replica that came with mini-figures of Batman and Harley Quinn, detachable launchers, and more. Of course, there was also 2008’s LEGO Batman, which was one of the most successful LEGO games at the time and spawned a number of DC crossovers afterward.

On September 9, 2025, LEGO will launch a 2,953-piece Batman: Arkham Asylum set that will allow fans to build a sizable model of Gotham’s iconic psychiatric hospital. The detailed model is split into three segments inspired by the game’s location: the first floor, second floor, and rooftop. It will also have removable parts to let fans access the interiors and check out its interactive features, including 65 stickers that reference popular Batman lore. Of course, the set will come with 16 mini-figures of Batman, Catwoman, Joker, and other key characters from Batman: Arkham Asylum, which can be placed in and around the LEGO model when it’s displayed. The Batman: Arkham Asylum set is priced at $299.99 and is already available for pre-order via LEGO’s website.
Batman: Arkham Asylum LEGO Set is Perfect For Collectors
Considering the size of the Batman: Arkham Asylum LEGO model, it might take a team effort to build it. The psychiatric hospital has several intricate parts for both of its interiors and exteriors, which could take a significant amount of time and effort to complete. At the same time, it would be a great activity to do while looking back on Batman: Arkham Asylum‘s most memorable moments, such as the Scarecrow boss battles and getting chased by Killer Croc in the sewers. The LEGO mini-figures of the DC characters can also help in reenacting those scenes on the model.
The Arkhamverse is one of the most interesting stories in Batman because it forces players to take a hard look at the villains’ motives, while also observing the Caped Crusader’s own psyche in the process. After it was leaked that developer Rocksteady Games had a scrapped Damian Wayne Batman game, many fans are still hoping to see a fresh take on Batman stories set in Arkham Asylum and other Gotham locations in the future.
