One of the unique features of the farming sim Moonlight Peaks is the magic ability some of the plants possess. While there are multiple crops and herbs with magic properties in the game, there is only one magic tree — the Muse Tree. Just as with the other magic plants, the Muse Tree has a special requirement to grow and produce fruit, and we’ll walk you through how to get the seeds, grow them, and utilize them.
How to Get the Muse Tree in Moonlight Peaks
To plant the Muse Tree, you’ll need to buy the seeds for 6,000 coins each from Luna’s Seed Stand south of her farm at the very end of the list. They take 25 days to grow, and they only produce fruit in the spring and winter seasons. Once the fruit is harvested, it takes another 7 days to get more. Muse Trees give Muse Nuts, which have 3 big purposes:
- Used in a Cheese Platter.
- Used at the Mana Table for 10% Mana Essence.
- Sold for coin.
As soon as you have the seeds, you can plant them anywhere on your farm. With trees, you do not need to dig up a place to plant them with your shovel. They can be planted on regular ground. They also do not need to be watered with any kind of watering can. You can plant the tree whenever, but it will not grow outside of spring or wintertime.
Place the Gramophone Nearby
- The Muse Tree needs the Gramophone to grow.
This isn’t something you are able to make at your Workbench. You will have to buy it from the Howling Hammer. The inventory in the shop is randomly generated and changes every day, so you will need to check for it whenever the shop is open. To buy the Gramophone, you will need 1,000 coins.
Once you have it, set it right next to the tree and interact with it to turn it on. The music will provide the Muse Tree with what it needs to grow. You’ll know it’s working when it starts sprouting, as the sprouts will dance to the music.
Harvest the Nuts
When the Muse Nuts are ready, you will be able to walk up to the tree and interact with it to harvest them. They will fall into your inventory automatically. You may also want to consider shaking the trees daily for a chance of them dropping seeds so you can get more trees for free.
