In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, the Shinju Clones reign supreme as the strongest villains capable of destroying the shinobi world at will. With Jura, the direct incarnation of the juvenile Ten-Tails, leading the group, the Shinju Clones continue to antagonize Boruto Uzumaki and his allies with their powerful abilities.
However, some of the most powerful characters in the Naruto universe have immense potential to contend with the strongest members of the Shinju Clones. Except for Jura, the other Shinju Clones have shown comparatively weaker combat abilities, making them less overwhelming threats to these formidable Naruto characters.

Konohamaru Nearly Defeated a Shinju Clone With His Own Power
Konohamaru experienced a Shinju Clone’s strength firsthand in Two Blue Vortex through his Land of the Wind encounter with Matsuri, the clone templated after Moegi. With Shikamaru’s guidance, Konohamaru nearly defeated Matsuri after landing a double Giant Rasengan directly on her body.
While Matsuri survived the lethal attack, the fact that Konohamaru could reduce Matsuri to such a weakened state proves that he has the potential to defeat her. If it weren’t for Konohamaru’s hesitation, he could have ended the battle even before Boruto had the chance to steal the kill from him.

Orochimaru Could Use the Shinju Clones’ Own Abilities Against Them
Orochimaru is one of the most unpredictable fighters in Konoha. Despite his low profile, Orochimaru could easily defeat one or two Shinju Clones due to his unmatched familiarity with Wood Release and Hashirama’s other incredible techniques. He may have been secretly researching an effective method to get rid of the Shinju Clones once and for all while lying low.
At the same time, Orochimaru remains a formidable shinobi, having battled alongside his fellow Sannin, taught Sasuke Uchiha, and antagonized the Leaf Village with his underhanded tactics and knowledge of forbidden techniques.

Obito Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan Ability Could Humble the Shinju Clones
The Shinju Clones possess incredible abilities, but they lack the years of combat experience that Obito Uchiha has. At the same time, they tend to follow their instincts instead of thinking strategically, giving Obito a major advantage in battle. In addition, they aren’t familiar with Obito Uchiha’s iconic Mangekyo Sharingan ability.
With Kamui, Obito can easily disorient the Shinju Clones with his intangibility. He can also catch them off-guard with Kamui, much like how Sarada overpowered the Shinju Ryu with her Ohirume ability. If that wasn’t enough, Obito, in his Ten-Tail jinchuriki form, gained godlike abilities that even the Shinju Clones may find difficult to counter.

The Shinju Clones Have Wood Release, But Hashirama Senju Does It Better
The Shinju Clones usually rely on Wood Release in combat, including Jura, who uses it to no end against Boruto and Kawaki on top of his miniature Tailed Beast bombs. And when it comes to Wood Release, among the characters in Naruto, Hashirama is undoubtedly the greatest user of this advanced nature transformation.
As the God of Shinobi and the strongest Wood Release user in Naruto, he can rival the Shinju Clones with his massive wood constructs, powerful regeneration, and battle experience accumulated from countless wars. Most certainly, Hashirama wouldn’t go down without taking at least one or two Shinju Clones with him.

Madara Uchiha’s Godlike Feats Prove He Can Defeat Most Shinju Clones
Facing Madara Uchiha in battle is not for the weak-hearted. He was notorious for his godlike feats in the Fourth Great Ninja War, which earned him great respect and admiration from fans. From dropping meteors like they were nothing to overwhelming the entire Allied Shinobi Forces alone, Madara delivered ridiculous feats that made him one of the greatest shinobi in history.
On the contrary, the Shinju Clones, except for Jura, pale in comparison to Madara’s overwhelming power, high combat intelligence, and legendary abilities that forced all the hidden villages to unite their forces against him.

Sasuke Uchiha Still Outclasses His Shinju Clone
Sasuke Uchiha is among the victims of the sentient God Trees that have appeared in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, courtesy of Code’s schemes with the juvenile Ten-Tails. Now serving as a chakra source for Shinju Hidari, his abilities continue to influence an enemy that is still learning how to fully utilize iconic techniques such as the Chidori, even without an active Sharingan.
At this stage, Sasuke remains a formidable shinobi who could potentially defeat Shinju Hidari if he were ever freed and allowed to fight. Despite losing his Rinnegan, he still has the Sharingan that Hidari lacks, granting him an opening that he could exploit. In addition, he knows himself better than anyone, so facing an opponent like Hidari who uses the same techniques as him gives Sasuke a significant advantage in battle.

Baryon Mode Naruto Uzumaki Has the Power to Destroy the Shinju Clones
Naruto Uzumaki may be in a difficult situation right now, as he is still trapped in the Daikokuten Dimension after Kawaki sealed him and Hinata away, yet he remains a powerful shinobi who once protected the world from godlike beings.
That said, the Seventh Hokage has yet to discover the presence of Shinju Clones, leaving him unaware that a new generation of powerful enemies has risen during his absence. Even so, in Naruto’s prime, taking out one or two Shinju Clones would be easy. Likewise, with Baryon Mode, Naruto could potentially overwhelm Jura thanks to its overwhelming power boost.

The Shinju Clones Rely on Abilities That Kaguya Otsutsuki Already Perfected
Kaguya Otsutsuki is a great calamity in the world of Naruto with the level of power she holds. The Rabbit Goddess is undeniably a solid villain, boasting godlike abilities that are far superior to what Naruto and Sasuke had at the time of their encounter. Unable to defeat her, Team 7 resorted to sealing her just to get rid of her.
As an Otsutsuki, Kaguya certainly has enough strength to overpower the Shinju Clones, including Jura himself. After all, she possesses almost every ability that the Shinju Clones have, not to mention that she was the first Otsutsuki to have ever merged with a God Tree in the entire series.
