As things currently stand, Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 is set to end on August 19. While there will likely be the usual server downtime following the season’s conclusion, Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 should start on the same day. Before then, fans can expect to see some kind of teaser trailer for the new season, where they’ll get official confirmation if it’ll revolve around gaming icons or not.
Fortnite has collaborated with a wealth of video game franchises over the last nine years. Alan Wake, Cyberpunk 2077, Arcane, Street Fighter, Resident Evil, The Witcher, Destiny, Overwatch, Doom, Assassin’s Creed, Halo, and even Dave the Diver are all just some of the games that have appeared in Fortnite at one point or another. It’s currently unclear if any of these past collaborations will rear their head once again in the rumored Gaming Legends season. That said, it would be great to see skins like Ezio Auditore, Chris Redfield, and Aloy come back to the Fortnite Item Shop during this next season, with all three having not been seen in over 1,000 days.
