Though this may not be the answer that most fans were expecting or the one that they wanted, the truth of the matter is that Vegito and Gogeta are the most powerful mortals to have ever been introduced in the Dragon Ball franchise. Due to the way that both of these fusions work, Goku and Vegeta’s strengths are added together, and the resulting power is further multiplied.
This alone is reason enough to put them on the highest tier of warriors in Dragon Ball, but to make matters even more interesting, both fusions now have the ability to tap into Divine Ki and unlock Super Saiyan Blue, which magnifies their power millions of times over. Their strength is so ridiculous that most fans are convinced that they are the only mortals to exist on the level of the Gods of Destruction, likely even surpassing some of them.
Once the series returns and the stakes get even higher with deadlier threats like Black Frieza, it seems that these fusions are the only ones capable of standing a chance against them. This can be surmised with how easily Black Frieza was able to defeat both Goku and Vegeta in their most powerful forms with just a single punch.
As if this weren’t enough, Goku and Vegeta’s ability to tap into Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego, respectively, means that the resulting fusion will be able to do so as well, wielding the greatest defensive and offensive techniques in the multiverse. This could possibly lead to the only way for the heroes to surpass Beerus, who has acted as a moving goalpost since the start of Super.

With the defense of the Angels and the offense of the Gods of Destruction, the ultimate form of Vegito or Gogeta would be the definition of a perfect warrior, since his powers would make him virtually untouchable. Though unlikely, some fans even believe that such a hypothetical fusion may just be closer to the Angels than even the Gods of Destruction.
As for who would be the perfect fusion for this, it would have to be Gogeta. Though they are equal in terms of overall strength, the Potara Earrings have been shown to burn out if the power of the fusion is too great, which is what happened when Vegito went Super Saiyan Blue against Merged Zamasu. On the other hand, the Metamoran Fusion lasts a standard of 30 minutes regardless of the fusion’s strength, which was seen when Gogeta managed to defeat Broly in his Super Saiyan Blue state without timing out. So, an all-powerful fusion using both Ultra Instinct and Ultra Ego may only be possible through Metamoran Fusion.
