In Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin DLC, you get to explore a vast new underwater region. This location is unlike all of the other areas you can venture to, which also means there are loads of special Pokémon who can only be encountered here.
Meeting and befriending new Pokémon is essential for progression in Pokopia, so you’ll want to learn which ones you should watch out for before you start exploring everything this DLC has to offer. So far, there are 29 Pokémon known to be part of the Bubbly Basin expansion pass DLC for Pokopia. There may be more to uncover, though, and additional Pokémon are also confirmed to be added with the Part 2 and Part 3 updates, so this collection will grow over time.

Outside of the fresh faces you can only find if you have the Bubbly Basin DLC, there are two other Pokémon that were released alongside it in the free update for all base game players. These are Manaphy, who you can befriend to learn Dive, and Feebas, who is part of the Fetching Scales for Feebas event.
Where to find Bubbly Basin Pokémon in Pokopia
All of the Pokémon featured in this expansion pass are exclusively found in the Bubbly Basin region. You’ll need to venture underwater and explore this special area to find them.
The process for finding and meeting the vast majority of these Pokémon is the same as it is for all others, which means you must set up unique habitats to get them. Many of these habitats involve new underwater assets you’ve never used before, so uncovering and building them can be a bit of a complex process to navigate.
Will Bubbly Basin get more Pokémon in Pokopia?
The Bubbly Basin expansion pass is confirmed to add additional Pokémon to befriend in future updates. This DLC is divided into three parts, so the Part 2 and Part 3 updates are included with your purchase even though they’re not out yet. Part 2 will be released in late 2026, and Part 3 sometime in 2027. Both parts are confirmed to include more Pokémon you can meet, plus plenty of other additions, like new furniture, accessories, and more.
