To Your Eternity Season 3 Gets a Release Date, With Ending Theme Artist Returning

The third season of To Your Eternity will premiere on October 4, 2025.

Masashi Hamauzu will perform the season’s ending theme. He also handled the endings for the first two seasons: “Mediator” in Season 1 and “ROOTS” in Season 2.

The manga, written by Yoshitoki Oima, ended on June 4 this year in Weekly Shonen Magazine after eight years of serialisation. The announcement of the anime’s release date came with the release of its 25th and final volume on August 12.

A trailer for Season 3 was released in May, teasing a big time skip. It shows Fushi reawakening in modern society, moving far ahead from the Renril Arc, which wrapped up the story’s first act.

The manga follows a mysterious immortal being sent to Earth to observe and preserve life. Starting as a sphere, it takes on the form of a boy and, over time, those it meets, learning about humanity’s beauty and sorrow along the way.

Season 1 aired from April to August 2021 for 20 episodes, animated by Brain’s Base and directed by Masahiko Murata. Season 2 ran from October 2022 to March 2023, animated by Drive with Kiyoko Sayama as director.

For Season 3, Studio Massket is joining Drive, with Sota Yokote directing. Sayama is returning, but as chief director, while the rest of the staff is unchanged.

Kodansha publishes the manga in English, with Volume 22 set for release on April 22, 2025. It’s also available digitally via Kodansha’s K Manga app.

You can stream To Your Eternity on Ani-One Asia, Crunchyroll, and Netflix. Season 2 is on Crunchyroll and Ani-One Asia.
