Shout Factory recently discontinued one of its best horror movie Blu-ray collections, but you still have time to add it to your collection–and you can get an incredible deal at Amazon. Friday the 13th Collection Deluxe Edition is on sale for a massive 34% discount that drops the price to only $106 (was $160). Released in 2020 to rave reviews from fans and critics, this 16-disc Blu-ray box set is the only Friday the 13th collection with all 12 movies. With Amazon’s deal, you’re paying $8.83 per movie, and that’s without factoring in the mountain of special features, premium display case, and collector’s booklet.
The Friday the 13th Collection Deluxe Edition was discontinued by Shout Factory over the holidays. It’s been sold out for months at multiple retailers, but Amazon has restocked it a few times. Just keep in mind that Amazon often sells the set for the full $160 price, so this deal is unlikely to be available for long. Amazon is also offering steep discounts on the 4K Blu-ray editions of Friday the 13th (1980), Jason Goes to Hell, and Jason X. Fans can also preorder Friday the 13th: Part 2 and Friday the 13th (2009) on 4K Blu-ray ahead of their shared February 3 launch date.
$106 (was $160) | Out of Print
Friday the 13th Collection Deluxe Edition is a 1080p Blu-ray box set compiling every movie in the iconic horror franchise. The classic eight-film story arc–the 1980 original through 1989’s Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan–is joined by the divisive Jason Goes to Hell (1993) and Jason X (2002), the Nightmare on Elm Street crossover film Freddy vs. Jason, and the 2009 reboot.
Unlike many large box sets, each movie has its own traditional Blu-ray case with reversible cover art. There are 13 cases in all, since the two bonus material discs have a case of their own. The movies and the 40-page booklet featuring essays and production photography are packaged inside the durable slipcase shown above. The slipcase has exclusive artwork by Devon Whitehead on all sides.
The first four movies in the collection are based on Shout Factory’s new (at the time) 4K restorations. Shout Factory also restored the mono/stereo audio tracks for the first seven films in the series. The original movie has two discs, one with the restored audio, another with the original sound. Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X received new 2K scan based on the interpositives.
If you’re a big fan of the series, the treasure trove of special features is worth the price of admission alone. Along with all of the archival content from earlier Blu-ray and DVD releases, this set comes with a bunch of new audio commentaries featuring the cast and crew. It also has new audio commentaries led by other filmmakers who were influenced by the franchise. You’ll also find new behind-the-scenes featurettes, making-of documentaries, and interviews. There are so many special features that the final two discs in the box set are loaded with even more of them.

$38 (was $48) | 2025 Reprint
When Shout Factory’s 12-film box set sells out, fans will still have a few smaller collections to choose from. Paramount reprinted the budget-friendly Friday the 13th 8-Movie Steelbook Collection in November, and it’s in stock at Amazon for $38 (was $48).
The 8-Movie Steelbook Collection includes Friday the 13th (1980) through Part VIII: The New Blood on six Blu-ray discs. In addition to the steelbook case, the box set com es with eight collectible art cards and a voucher for the Movies Anywhere digital versions of each film.
The reprint sold out multiple times over the holidays. If it disappears again, it’s worth noting that Amazon has also restocked the original 2021 edition for the same price. Just be aware that the activation codes for the digital editions will probably be expired.
All six discs are packaged in the single steelbook case shown above. The remastered versions of the first four movies in the classic series are included in this collection, too. The remasters get their own discs, but back half of the classic series is pressed onto two discs. This collection doesn’t come with nearly as many special features, but it’s still quite the bargain.
The Steelbook Collection is actually cheaper than the standard version without the collectible case and art cards. Alternatively, you can buy the 8-Movie Collection on DVD for just over $20.
All of the Friday the 13th movies have received standalone DVD editions with more bonus content than the 8-Movie Collection. The first four Friday the 13th movies have standalone Blu-ray editions–The Final Chapter even has a $15 Steelbook Edition–but Part V through Jason X are only available on standard Blu-ray in box sets. The 2009 reboot and Freddy vs. Jason have standard Blu-ray editions.
If you’re looking for 4K Blu-rays, we’ve rounded up all Friday the 13th movies with 4K restorations below, including two upcoming releases.
Friday the 13th Movies on 4K Blu-ray

In celebration of its 45th anniversary, Friday the 13th: Part II releases on 4K Blu-ray for the first time on February 3. A reprint of Arrow Video’s Friday the 13th (2009) 4K Blu-ray arrives the same day. The 2009 reboot originally launched as a limited-edition release in 2024 and has been sold out since last summer. The reprint has a reversible cover, but it doesn’t come with the illustrated booklet and poster. You can, however, still get two Arrow Video Friday the 13th Limited Editions for great prices. Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X launched on 4K Blu-ray last May for $50 each, but you can snag both for over 50% off. Both movies come with exclusive bonus content, reversible cover art, an illustrated booklet, and a double-sided poster.
Lastly, the original Friday the 13th movie is available on 4K Blu-ray for only $13. If you want a collectible version, the Limited Edition Steelbook is $28.
