Schedule 1 has released a new beta update for August 2025, adding a brand-new graffiti feature to the game. The new Schedule 1 update is only available to players who are opted in to the game’s beta branch on Steam.
Schedule 1 launched into Early Access back in March 2025, and instantly delivered runaway success for solo developer TVGS (Tyler). By the end of May 2025, Schedule 1 had surpassed $125 million in revenue, and was seeing hundreds of thousands of concurrent players on a daily basis. Nowadays, the game is peaking on Steam daily at just shy of 20,000 concurrent players, but developer Tyler continues to refresh the game with new content regularly.
Tyler posted the new beta patch notes on Steam, revealing that the recently teased graffiti feature had arrived in Schedule 1. According to the patch notes, players can now “spray graffiti on various surfaces around the map to reduce cartel influence and gain XP.” This comes in addition to the new spray paint item, which can be bought at the Gas Mart. While this is the headline addition, there are a few more important tweaks across the board.
Tyler has also made some changes to Schedule 1‘s Cartel update, which launched earlier this week. Cartel activity cooldowns have been changed, and cartel passive influence gain has been disabled. Cartel dealers should now work outside of Westville, and a couple more changes to the cartel have been made that should ensure more stability in multiplayer matches. While the new Schedule 1 update is currently only available on the opt-in beta branch, barring any game-breaking issues, it hopefully won’t be long until it’s available to all players.
With Tyler still working on the Schedule 1 roadmap solo, it will likely be a long time before the game is ready for a full release. The game’s Steam page indicates that the game will be in Early Access for “approximately 2 years,” but it remains to be seen if that changes based on Schedule 1‘s incredible success. Only time will tell, but even now, the game is in a very fun state.
