Amazon has SSD deals coming out of its metaphorical ears today, with 1TB drives as low as

Look, given the choice between buying storage and a shiny new game, we’re always more likely to go for the latter, but buying SSDs is getting much easier with prices dropping.

Amazon has slashed the prices of some Samsung and WD models, including some of our favorites, meaning it’s cheaper to get fast storage than ever.

Get a new SSD for as little as $90

Up first, our beloved Samsung 990 PRO is down to just $89.99, a reduction of 30% on the 1TB model. That gives you a chunk of storage for your PC (or PS5), and the Heatsink version is $109.99 down from $139.99, too.

In James’ benchmarking, the Samsung drive matched the speeds of the WD Black SN850X, which brings us nicely to that drive, too.

The WD Black SN850X is discounted by 32%, meaning you can grab a 2TB SSD for just $129.99. That probably makes it an ideal next step beyond the 1TB Samsung model, doubling your capacity for $40 more.

Finally, we highlighted a Samsung SSD deal on a 4TB drive earlier this week, but now there’s a Western Digital option up for grabs, too.

The WD Black SN7100 4TB version has seen a price reduction down to $209.99 and has enough space for just about any game library you want to throw at it. That’s a 22% discount ($60 off), making it well worth a look for upgrading your rig.
