All Disney Dreamlight Valley The Keepsake Sea characters

A vast new underwater region is on its way to Disney Dreamlight Valley with The Keepsake Sea DLC. Exploring this new area will be quite different and sure to feature many challenges, but luckily, some new characters will be there to help guide you through it.

The vast majority of villagers can be found and unlocked in the main valley, but there are also some tied to different expansions you can purchase. It can be tough to decide whether a pack is worth it for you, so before you add this one to your collection, you may want to know all the characters featured in The Keepsake Sea DLC in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

As of the time of writing, three characters have been revealed for Disney Dreamlight Valley’s The Keepsake Sea expansion. These characters are:

  • Milo Thatch from Atlantis: The Lost Empire
  • Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Megara from Hercules

All three characters are officially confirmed to be DLC-exclusive. This means the only way you can even find, meet, and befriend them is by buying the associated expansion pack.

How many characters are in The Keepsake Sea in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Three characters have been confirmed for The Keepsake Sea so far. However, it is highly likely that there is at least one or two more being kept secret for now. All past expansions have had more than three characters to unlock.

  • A Rift in Time had four, including Rapunzel, Eve, Gaston, and Jafar.
  • The Storybook Vale had five, which are Merida, Maleficent, Hades, Flynn Rider, and Aurora.
  • Wishblossom Ranch had four, including Snow White, Cruella, Tinker Bell, and Tigger.
  • Honeyglow Woods, a smaller Adventure Pack rather than a full-sized DLC, had three, which are Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore.

For all past DLCs, only a couple of the characters included were revealed early on, while the rest were unveiled closer to release or even further down the line if the pack was divided into parts.

The Keepsake Sea has a massive reveal stream scheduled for Oct. 21, so we may get more info and potential character reveals here. If not, they might be kept under wraps until the expansion is released, but either way, it’s highly likely this DLC includes at least one additional character, if not more.

Is there a villain in The Keepsake Sea in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

So far, no villain has been revealed for The Keepsake Sea in DDV. All past expansions have come with one, though, and each one has revolved around a central plot related to one of the big bads of Disney. Because of this, it’s very likely there is a villain in this pack, and they just haven’t been unveiled yet.

Although we don’t have any official information about who the probable villain included in this pack will be, there are some clues and details that point to a couple of different culprits being the most likely additions.

  • At about 46 seconds into the expansion announcement trailer for The Keepsake Sea, there’s a strange-looking flag with a skull on it featured above a wooden door. This skull doesn’t look like an ordinary pirate skull, and if you look closely at it, you might realize it perfectly matches the skull design present on the hat that Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog wears. It’s possible this is just a coincidence, but it seems more likely that it might be a hint for him being the villain for this DLC.
  • Jack Sparrow is one of the characters we know this pack includes, and one of his biggest rivals in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies is Davy Jones. This villain also fits quite well with the pirate and underwater theme present in the pack, so he’s another strong contender for the potential villain role.
  • The strong pirate theme running throughout this expansion could also be hinting at Captain Hook from Peter Pan. We have two other characters from this film, Peter Pan himself and Tinker Bell, so far, which means their rival could be arriving in the valley at any point. He definitely matches the theme for this DLC, so he’s another potential contender.

The villain of each DLC generally fits the theme of the pack quite well, so these three are certainly the top, most likely contenders for this one. We may get the villain reveal during the special stream on Oct. 21, so stay tuned for that to see if we find out who it is.
