Marvel Rivals Community Offers Support to Players Who Doubt Themselves

Some days are just tougher than others. You might be in the best mood ever, but you keep losing, over and over again. This can be quite disheartening and frustrating. It can easily ruin your day. However, the good news is that this happens to everyone. Thankfully, the amazing Marvel Rivals community is here to remind all of the players not to doubt themselves when they suffer a loss.

Do You Ever Doubt Yourself?

You win some, you lose some, right? Well, it’s easier said than done. Some players have trouble losing, as that can shake their confidence, especially if they were trying their best, or they were used to winning. Dozens of players shared their unfortunate experiences.

One player, Rockstar457, took to Reddit and shared their recent troubles. This player noted: “How often have y’all had matches where you genuinely started questioning your own skill? I get on for the first time tonight, playing Adam in a match. I usually do pretty good with him but there was this one magik that I just couldn’t get and kept getting me and it made me start questioning everything. But then I was back to doing fine next match”.

It’s important to note that these unexpected losses happen to everyone. Even the players who are considered to be the cream of the crop doubt themselves sometimes. One player, bl4ckp00lzz, admitted: “Constantly, I’m in Grandmaster. Missing once with Luna healing can kill a teammate in some situations. I usually hit my heals but then there are those moments where I can’t hit my poor dagger teammate for 3 whole shots”.

Marvel Rivals Community Is Always Supportive

The best thing about this community is the fact that its members are always there to offer support. As with any game, this one has had some tough topics arise, like misogyny or facing peer pressure. However, unlike many other communities, this one dealt with hard topics wonderfully. So, it wasn’t that surprising when the Marvel Rivals community stepped up and offered some encouragement to players who doubt themselves.

One player, nomeriatneh, reminded the other players: “QP is luck-based And, Ranked, well it’s a hell hole. Don’t go hard on yourself”. We’d like to add that there are so many factors that could make or break the game, and a lot of them are out of players’ control, just pure luck.

So, the next time your team gets steamrolled, don’t blame yourself (or the others!). Use the opportunity to see what went wrong, and to improve some aspects that you can control. Sometimes, we all have a blind spot for something, and losing can often show us what we’re doing wrong. Just try not to get upset over small mistakes. We all make them. Instead, try to enjoy the game and learn from the mistakes.
