To complete the Memory Mania Mystery: Finale! quest in DDV, you need to follow the trail of Mysterious Black Feathers to the Cursed Cave and find the culprit who’s been behind the entire strange series of events. This mission is easier than the ones that come before it, but can still be a bit tricky to complete, so here’s a full breakdown of how to get it done.
Complete Memory Mania Mystery #1, #2, and #3 quests
Before you can start this mission, you first need to make sure you’ve fully completed the Memory Mania Mystery #1, Memory Mania Mystery #2, and Memory Mania Mystery #3 quests. All parts of this mission series must be completed in order, and you also need to wait 24 hours between each one for the next section to unlock.
Find Joy
Once you’re ready to get going on this mission, track down Joy around your valley. Chat with her to officially start this quest and get the latest information she’s discovered.

Visit the Cursed Cave to catch the culprit
Joy will let you know that she saw a strange trail of feathers leading to the Cursed Cave. Because of this, for the next part of this quest, you need to follow the feathers and visit the Cursed Cave to catch the culprit.
Where is the Cursed Cave in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
You can find the Cursed Cave near the east end of the Dazzle Beach biome. This is the cave where you first meet and unlock Ursula in DDV. There are two different caves you can visit on the beach, so finding the correct one here can be tricky. You’re looking for the one marked with a blue Mickey house icon.
Listen to Joy and the Goose inside the Cursed Cave
Inside the Cursed Cave, you and Joy will find a rather odd Goose hanging around. Listen in as Joy talks to the Goose and assesses the situation.
Talk to Joy in the village
After listening in while Joy chats with the Goose, exit the Cursed Cave. Then, meet up with Joy in the village to chat with her about the entire series of strange events that have unfolded.
For this particular step, you must chat with her in the main Dreamlight Valley area. If she teleports somewhere else, like a DLC world or into a building, you’ll need to ask her to hand out and bring her outside to any biome in the main village.
Chatting with Joy at this point officially completes the Memory Mania Mystery: Finale! quest. Your prize for all the work you put into the questline is the Deep Dark Secret Goose.
