Once you’ve downloaded Gully Gangs: Street Cricket and wrapped up the tutorial, Quick Match is the fastest way to get into a game. Here’s how it works step by step.
Steps to Play a Quick Match
1. Pick Your Venue
Choose your map, which the game calls a venue. Right now, you can select between City and Village grounds.
2. Choose Your Match Type
- 1v1: Two overs per side.
- 4v4: Four overs per side.
3. Tap on Quick Match
Head into the Quick Match section from the main menu.
4. Enter the Lobby
The game will automatically match you with an opponent. If your friends are online, you can invite them to join instead.
5. Pre-Match Walkaround
You’ll get 50 seconds before the match begins to explore the map.
6. Toss and Captain Choices
After the toss, the captain decides:
- Who takes strike when batting.
- Which bowler opens the innings when bowling.
7. Captain’s Role During the Match
- Pick the next batter after every wicket.
- Assign a new bowler after each over.
8. Team Control Based on Match Type
- 1v1: You control both batting and bowling.
- 4v4: You only play when it’s your turn to bat or bowl, while teammates handle the rest.
Note: Your team is considered all out after three dismissals.

9. Batting Controls
Choose whether to hit grounded or go lofted for big shots.
10. Bowling Options
You can pick from five delivery types:
- Fast
- In Swing
- Out Swing
- Off Spin
- Leg Spin
Tip: Use the pitch map to place the ball where you want.

Bonus: Daily Challenges
From the main menu, you can earn rewards by completing challenges such as:
- Winning a match
- Taking two wickets
- Hitting three boundaries
- Playing a match
- Taking two catches
