Unlock Ultimate Weapon Mods in StarRupture: Step-by-Step Guide

Unlock Ultimate Weapon Mods in StarRupture: Step-by-Step Guide

Weapons are one of the most useful survival tools in StarRupture. What the game doesn’t tell you about them is that they can be modified with various implements that enhance their damage, utility, and handling, and that’s a big plus if players have to face hordes of the evil arachnid alien life forms of Arcadia-7, also known as The Vermin.

Learn all about Weapon Mods, how to unlock them all, and how to modify weapons with the comprehensive step-by-step guide. If players are still using their regular UPP-7 Pistol, they should read this guide, which will help them destroy every enemy looking to obstruct their base-building in StarRupture.

How To Modify Weapons in StarRupture

Every weapon can be modded, but the question is: How do we do that? First, players need to unlock the Equipment Upgrade Station, by increasing the reputation level of GriffithsBlue Corp to four. Follow these steps to unlock the Equipment Upgrade Station in StarRupture:

  1. Build a Supply Line to gather Wolfram Ore and Titanium Ore.
  2. Build a Smelter and Fabricator.
  3. Unlock the Titanium Sheet or Wolfram Plate recipes (Recipe Station)
  4. Fabricate Titanium Sheets or Wolfram Plates and set a Commission with the Orbital Launch Station to send them to GriffithsBlue Corporation.
  5. Alternatively, players can use 6400 Data Points to increase their level to 4 and skip the Commission delivery.

Once at Level 4, go to the Corporate Terminal and claim the reward. Now, grab 120 Basic Building Mats and create the Equipment Upgrade Station.

Interact with the Station to find two Tabs: Weapon Unlocks, and Mod Unlocks. The first tab allows players to select from all unlocked weapons, and the second tab displays all the modifications on each of the weapons.

Select a weapon, then equip it in one of the two Active Slots. Players can have up to two active weapons, with their respective modifications in their loadout.

There’s another important detail: Every time players switch or modify weapons using the Equipment Upgrade Station, they will need to pay Basic Crafting Materials (made with Wolfram and Titanium Ores).
