Borderlands 4’s massive world of Kairos has many regions to visit, and having your vehicle will be handy.
While vehicles work in the same fashion as older titles, you can have personalized items. It takes some time to unlock the first one – the Digirunner. You can assemble a vast array of vehicles by simply playing the game.
Since Digirunner is the first vehicle to unlock, let’s examine the whole process.
How to get the Digirunner in Borderlands 4?
The Digirunner can be unlocked by simply completing parts of the main campaign. After you escape the prison and enter Kairos for the first time, complete Recruitment Drive. Once you have progressed along those quests, you’ll begin the Down and Outbound quest.
As part of the quest, you’ll have to travel to Fadefields and come across a barn (it’s impossible to miss being part of the quest). Just kill the enemies popping up at the Crimson Resistance’s headquarters, and you’ll then speak with Rush. Rush will send you to Conway, who will hand you the Digirunner.
This adds the first vehicle to your collection, and you can keep getting more by completing various side quests and other activities.
How to get all the vehicles in Borderlands 4?
Here’s a list of all the vehicles I found and their unlock activities. More vehicles are inside the game, but I have yet to unlock them. As soon as I add them to my collection, I will add the instructions to the guide.
- Digirunner: You get this as part of the Down and Outbound quest after speaking with Conway.
- Driftblade: Finish the Rush the Gate quest.
- Carapacer: Finish the Hise Vile Sanctum quest.
- Punchy Whoopster: Finish Her Flaming Vision quest.
- Sprintcraft: Finnish The Timekeeper’s Order quest.
- Fang Glider: Finish the Another Day, Another Universe quest.
Here’s a list of the vehicles I have yet to unlock: Gyrosled, Pulsar, Skimmer, and Stone-Hopper.
