Without spoiling too much, Synduality: Noir’s true story happens after a mysterious girl sets Kanata’s life in motion, much like how Lelouch Lamperouge meets C2 in Code Geass. The series remains an underrated mecha anime mostly due to its limited availability, but Synduality: Noir still delivers an entertaining story with characters that fans would not hesitate to root for.

Back in October 2023, Netflix dropped Pluto, an 8-episode miniseries that impressed mecha anime fans with its solid production values and compelling storyline. It is a well-written series that begins as a murder mystery and transforms into a thought-provoking sci-fi drama exploring humanity, artificial intelligence, war, revenge, and the true meaning of being alive.
