Skate Upcoming Seasons Breakdown
Skate’s early access launch will evolve through multiple seasons, each bringing new content and improvements to the game. Season 1, kicking off in October 2025, introduces two themed seasonal events: Skate-o-Ween and 7-Play Maple Harvest.
Season 2, arriving sometime in December 2025, expands the experience with more seasonal events, a brand-new co-op mode, party voice chat, replay editor improvements, and fresh tricks such as impossibles and improved handplants.
Looking further ahead, Season 3 (arriving beyond 2025) will add entirely new game modes, player-created skate parks, additional character customization slots like tattoos, advanced tricks including darkslides and footplants, and global leaderboards.
When it comes to gameplay, Skate stays true to the series’ roots while layering in modern improvements. The trick system still revolves around smooth grabs, grinds, flips, and rotations, with animations that feel instantly familiar to longtime fans. Off the board, players now have expanded movement options, with the ability to scale walls, climb, and jump to reach new spots and lines.
