About SGS Sealion

Experience a gripping alternate history of World War II where the fate of Britain hangs in the balance. This operational wargame places players in charge of either the Axis or British forces during Germany’s attempted invasion in 1940. The gameplay is deeply strategic, focusing on careful resource management and tactical decision-making as you navigate a variety of scenarios, from quick skirmishes to lengthy campaigns that stretch over 30 turns.

One standout feature is the asymmetric conflict, where players must leverage their unique advantages—Britain’s fortified defenses and naval capabilities against Germany’s powerful ground troops. Weather plays a critical role, adding urgency as autumn approaches. The game also incorporates event cards that introduce unpredictable political and military challenges, ensuring each playthrough is distinct. Ideal for fans of methodical, historically-inspired strategy games, this title rewards thoughtful planning and adaptability. If you enjoy immersive tactical gameplay that balances historical accuracy with engaging mechanics, this game is worth checking out.
