Aha! I have at last wrested control of the WAWAPs from the intruders! Let the smiley faces return! And also, be a star and let us know what you’re getting up to this weekend? I’ve missed our chats.
Here’s what we’re all clicking on this weekend!

I was about 15 minutes into Silent Hill f on Thursday when there was a power cut. I spent 90 seconds in gloom, eyeing the silhouette of my coat on the front door hook, and appreciating how ominously quiet my flat is when you turn off the fridge. I’m going to try again this weekend. I hope the situation doesn’t… escalate. Just to mix things up, I’m also going to check out Eclipsium, another and possibly more experimental horror game featuring a lot of wide-eyed ladies in caves.

Nic drifts, timeless, in the ether.

My wife and I are in the process of setting up a new house that we somehow managed to get after eight months of pain. And so my next three weekends shall revolve around transporting boxes, painting, and fighting spiders in our small cellar, which resembles a dungeon crawler from 1981. I want to get a sticker to put on the cellar door that reads “Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord” but am unsure if my significant other will allow this.

I’m still Silksong-ing, as work demands, but I’m at last able to stretch my wings a little further out to old favourites like Satisfactory. We’re extremely near completion of the final phase now, and things are getting pretty shoddy as we rush towards this last hurdle. Spaghetti everywhere. I’m also having a fun time dabbling around in Endless Legend 2. The UI, as ever, is a thing of beauty.

I can’t have much more of Silksong left to do, surely. No, wait, there’s loads. My god. Loads.

I think I’m going to play the rest of No, I’m not a Human this weekend, having already dipped in for a couple of hours and found its eerie atmos intriguing. Aside from that, there may well be some sim racing, as both Assetto Corsa EVO and Raceroom have gotten big updates adding new rides and other doodads this week. A bit of messing around in BeamNG Drive may be scattered in too if I fancy.
And you, reader dear, what are you playing this weekend?…
