The Fallen Emperor is an iconic location on the Pendola Pass map of ARC Raiders, and it’s not just a popular spot for sightseeing. While the Emperor is dead and inactive, you can head inside to find some wonderful items, including the Emperor modulator, which is key to approaching the endgame.
In this guide, I will first explain how to enter the Fallen Emperor and then how to secure the items during your runs.
How to enter the Fallen Emperor in ARC Raiders
Before you can find the Emperor Modulator or any other loot from the Fallen Emperor, you need to get inside.
- Start a new run on the Pendola pass and make sure the redirection map condition is active. This is a special map condition that has been added as part of the Frozen Trail update. It’s not active at all times, so you will need to follow when the condition goes live.
- When the redirection map is active, you will find damaged Emperor relays spread around the map. They will be marked on the map, and you can also identify them by their red beam.
- Interact with the relay to find an Emperor beacon.
- Deploy the beacon in an open area and move away because a payload will drop at the spot.
- Search the Fallen harvested payload, and you will find the Emperor Gateway Conduit blueprint along with ARC Couplers.
- You can then craft the Conduit at Workbench level 1.
- Once all the hard tasks are complete, you can bring the crafted conduit to the Fallen Emperor and unlock his entrances and head inside.
Here are all the requirements of crafting the Conduit.
- One ARC Conductive Coupler
- One ARC Insulated Coupler
- One ARC Plated Coupler
All three types of Couplers drop from the Harvester Payloads but they’re random.
How to get the Emperor Modulator in ARC Raiders
The main task is to find the entrance behind the base of the Fallen Emperor. Then, use the Emperor Gateway Circuit to open the entrance and head inside. Since the internal layout will be random, there are no fixed spots for the Emperor Modulator.
You’ll also come across certain puzzles that you have to solve and hazards to counter. Look into every available containers and pods to have the highest chances for finding the Modulator.
I also recommend bringing a loadout with a Safe Pocket so that you can carry the items back safely with you irrespective of whether you make it out alive or not.
