We all have our favorite Heroes, and we’ll stick by them no matter what. However, objectively speaking, when we see some characters join the team, we all know we’ll probably lose the game. Sure, not everyone will admit that, but deep down, every Marvel Rivals player has a list of Heroes they don’t want to see on their team. Interestingly enough, the majority of players have the same Heroes in mid.
Some Heroes Don’t Contribute Enough
At the time of writing this article, there are 35 Heroes on the roster. Of course, that number will soon rise to 37, with The Thing and Human Torch joining soon. So, keep in mind that this list might change in time as more and more Heroes arrive.
Let’s ease into this and start with Heroes who aren’t “the worst” but could contribute more. Black Widow made the list, but avid fans explained why her statistics weren’t spotless. According to Heroes-in: “I’m not in favor of Widow, but the reason her stats are so bad is that %99.infinity of CoD players that wanted to try the game went straight to Widow for the ADS, lost a game or 2, and uninstalled”.
Next on the list, well, they were often mentioned together, Jeff and Groot. One player, an_actual_fungus, stated: “Maybe Jeff or Groot too, since they can brick the team’s ability to play with bad usage or their abilities but they can just not use those and be fine”. Now, we are quite fond of Jeff, but we can still agree that in the wrong hands, he can be quite unuseful. Especially in that pink fluffy costume.
Top Two Heroes Who Marvel Rivals Players Hope Not to See on Their Team
Can you guess which Heroes earned their place at the very top of this list? Well, the Marvel Rivals community was pretty clear on which Heroes are the most frustrating. It was a tight race, but, in second place we have Captain America.
Sufficient-Rub7545 noted: “Me personally every time I play with Captain America I just know my chance of losing goes up 10%. Don’t get me wrong I love Captain America mains and I think the character is cool but I just hate it when I get teamed up with Captain America, especially being a Groot main. Also, what I noticed is that the Captain America maze is the least likely to switch off”.
Finally, the first place goes to… drumroll, please… Spider-Man! You probably could have guessed this on your own, with Spider-Man making every “most annoying Hero” list out there. Not even a new costume managed to improve his reputation.
Vineheart_01 stated: “Spiderman. Not only are most of them negative scores but even if they’re positive they sometimes don’t impact the game. I’ve had games where a spiderman was trashing our backline but not actually getting many kills. He was royally pissing us off yet we were winning quite handily anyway”.
One player, kobayaskinator, concluded: “Spider-Man. You know why and what you did Spider-Man mains”. It seems that Spider-Man truly is the Hero that the majority of Marvel Rivals players don’t want to see on their team.
