The final puzzle for the 2026 installment of The Haunted Floating Festival event in Disney Dreamlight Valley has arrived, which means you can now fully complete it if you happen to have all the others done. This one is called Ghost Hunt Puzzle #9.

To complete Ghost Hunt Puzzle #9 in The Haunted Floating Festival event, you need to find and take pictures of 10 Ghosts hidden around the island in DDV. This one is less of a standard puzzle and more of a scavenger hunt, as your goal is simply to scour every part of the event island until you find and take pictures with all of the Ghosts roaming about.

Ghost Hunt Puzzle #9 walkthrough in Disney Dreamlight Valley Haunted Floating Festival event

• On The Haunted Floating Festival island, head inside the Haunted House building. This is one of two locations you can go inside on the island. You’re looking for the Haunted House, not the massive Haunted Mansion for this task. It’s the same building where Release the Curse Haunted Key Puzzle #6 and Haunted Library Puzzle #7 take place.
• Locate and interact with the disposable camera. Once you’re inside, walk over to the left corner of the first room, close to where the sparkling book tells you to find the missing page and restore it to the Grimoire for a different puzzle. Next to the small end table with Night Thorns on it, you’ll find a sparkling disposable camera you can interact with. Trigger it to start this puzzle.

• Search the event island to find 10 Ghosts. With the camera activated, you can now scour the event island to find 10 Ghosts for this puzzle. They can appear anywhere around it, so be sure to carefully check every inch of this location to find them all.
• Take a picture with all 10 Ghosts. Each time you find a Ghost, snap a photo with it in the frame to make it disappear. Repeat this process until you’ve found and removed all 10 of them.

Once you’ve captured a picture with all 10 Ghosts to make them disappear, your prize will spawn in a pouch on the ground nearby. Your reward appears close to wherever the last Ghost you find is, so its exact spawn location varies for everyone.

The solution for Ghost Hunt Puzzle #9 is to trigger the disposable camera and take pictures with all 10 Ghosts lurking around the island to make them disappear. It’s pretty different from the other puzzles included in this event, but still a bit tough to tackle at first.

Upon fully finishing Ghost Hunt Puzzle #9 in DDV, you unlock the Ghost item as a reward. This is a placeable furniture item version of the Ghosts you had to hunt down around the event island for this mission.
