Ghost of Yotei: All Bounties and Where to Find Them

There are a total of 31 Bounties in Ghost of Yotei. Each bounty can be claimed from the regional bounty boards, and by talking to Kojiro the Bounty Broker. With so many bounties in so many regions, players might want a place that compiles every bounty, their location, and final reward, so that they can keep track of what they’ve done, have yet to do, and what they wish to aim towards. All Yotei Grasslands Bounties in Ghost of Yotei

Smiling Yoshitomo

Location: Weary Traveler’s Camp, Tranquil Falls, Yotei Grasslands

Reward: 750 Coins, Smiling Kabuto-Mushi Sword Kit

Smiling Yoshitomo is the first bounty that players can pick up from the Yotei’s Shadow Inn in the Yotei Grasslands, and once acquired, players will be able to find him at the Weary Traveler’s Camp in Tranquil Falls, which is in the very south region of the Yotei Grasslands. Simply rest at the campfire, and a Settler will appear, who reveals himself to be Yoshitomo.

Crow Genzo

• Location: The Blue-Flowered Cemetery, Jade Grove, Yotei Grasslands
• Reward: 750 Coins, Metsubushi (Quickfire Weapon), Crow Gernzo’s Sandogasa Hat

Crow Genzo has his bounty poster located at the Yotei’s Shadow Inn in the Yotei Grasslands. After picking up this bounty, players will want to head to The Blue-Flowered Cemetery, located in the north area of Jade Grove, which can be found in the northwest area of the Yotei Grasslands, just above Shikotsu Woods. Crow Genzo is found by the central grounds of the cemetery at the Altar of Reflection.

Muneji the Bone Crusher

• Location: Saito Compound, Shirahige Falls, Yotei Grasslands
• Reward: 2,000 Coins, Crushing Hebi Sword Kit

After picking up a bounty from the Yotei’s Shadow Inn in the Yotei Grasslands, Muneji the Bone Crusher’s bounty will appear on the same board once you return. This bounty can be found at the Saito Compound in the Shirahige Falls area of the Yotei Grasslands. This is a Yotei Six Camp located in the south region of the Yotei Grasslands, so clear out the camp of Saito’s Outlaws to challenge the Muneji.

The Three Terrors

• Location: The Twisted Tree, Serpent’s Pass, Yotei Grasslands
• Reward: 1,500 Coins

The Three Terrors is another bounty that appears on the Yotei’s Shadow Inn bounty board in the Yotei Grasslands, and it takes players through a cavern with a deadly trio. The three targets are all located in The Twisted Tree, a location found north of Serpent’s Pass. Continue north to locate a gap in the rock wall that allows you access to the cave, and then begin climbing down to hunt the trio.

Black Powder Ippei

• Location: Hilltop Watchtower, Yotei Grasslands
• Reward: 750 Coins, Black Powder Ippei’s Mask

Another bounty that’s claimed from the Yotei’s Shadow Inn. Follow southwest of the Shikotsu River, where, just south of the Windy Meadow, you’ll find an abandoned and destroyed watchtower. At this location, fire will begin to reign from above, and you’ll need to follow that fire trail south to find Black Powder Ippei, who is using a cannon to bring you down.

Soma the Condemned

• Location: Lake Jozan, Yotei Grasslands
• Reward: 1,500 Coins, Bounty Master Armor, Bounty Master Headband

After you complete the previous bounties in the Yotei Grasslands, return to the Yotei’s Shadow Inn and speak with Kojiro the Bounty Proker, who sits beside the bounty board. Kojiro will then give you the Soma the Condemned bounty. To find Soma, head north of the Yotei River to the west part of Lake Jozan. You’ll find a cave on the edge of the map, and a locked gate. To open the locked gate, swipe Left on the Touch Pad and play “Song of Soma” on the shamisen (automatically acquired). and follow through the cave to begin your duel.

All Ishikari Plain Bounties in Ghost of Yotei

Blue Yamauba

• Location: Blackened Homestead, Urara Forest, Ishikari Plain
• Reward: 1,500 Coins, Blue Yamauba Mask

After heading to the Ishikari Market, you can locate the bounty board and pick up the wanted poster for the Blue Yamauba. To start, venture east to the Ishikari Fork and save the Settler located at the “A” in “Ishikari” on the map, and with the drawing, head further east to the Oni’s Breath Inn. Take the mask to the Mask Merchant, and then head west to the Blackened Homestead to investigate the Blue Yamauba.

Bloody Strings Hachibee

• Location: Stone Jaw Coast, Ishikari Plain
• Reward: 750 Coins, Bloody Strings Hachibee’s Straw Hat

Another bounty at the Ishikari Market demands the removal of Bloody Strings Hachibee. This murderer can be found north of the Ishikari Plain in the Stone Jaw Coast. Players can find his camp specifically above the “A” in “Coast” on the map, and they will need to play the shamisen to get Hachibee to reveal himself.

Toshi the Torch

• Location: Coastal Cave, Otaru Beach, Ishikari Plain
• Reward: 1,500 Coins, Toshi the Torch’s Mask

Toshi the Torch will be available on the Ishikari Market bounty board. Players can find him in the Coastal Cave, southwest of the Ishikari Plain region, on the coastline just before the Otaru Beach on the map.

Eijiro the Ruthless

• Location: Higashi Lumberyard, Urara Forest, Ishikari Plain
• Reward: 2,000 Coins, Eijiro the Ruthless Mask

Eijiro the Ruthless has a bounty poster in the Ishikari Market, but it’s not needed. Players can find Eijiro the Ruthless immediately as they venture to the Higashi Lumberyard, west of the Urara Forest, specifically just to the left of the “U” in “Urara” on the map. Eijiro the Ruthless is the boss encounter after clearing the Yotei Six Camp.

Turtle Man Kamakichi

• Location: Abandoned Fishing Camp, Nakagoya Spring, Ishikari Plain
• Reward: 750 Coins, Turtle Man Kamekichi’s Mask

This bounty can be activated from the Ishikari Market bounty board. To find Turtle Man Kamakichi, head east of Nakagoya Spring to find an Abandoned Fishing Camp. You can examine objects here, and then follow the fire arrows north to Nohoro Cave to find the bounty waiting inside.

Shiro the Swindler

• Location: Jigoku Fortress, Yokai’s Nest, Ishikari Plain
• Reward: 1,500 Coins, Sly Thief Mask

After completing the previous bounties from the bounty board in the Ishikari Market, you can speak to Kojiro the Bounty Hunter beside the board to receive the Shiro the Swindler bounty. To find Shiro, head north of the Rumoi River and follow the coastal cliffs to the west in Yokai’s Nest, where upon examining the abandoned camp, you’ll meet Shiro and begin his quest.

All Tokachi Range Bounties in Ghost of Yotei

One-Eye Moritaka

• Location: Saito Encampment, Yubari Lake, Tokachi Range
• Reward: 750 Coins

The One-Eye Moritaka bounty can be picked up from the Huranui’s Rest Inn bounty board. One-Eye Moritaka himself can be found at the Saito Encampment, north of the Ohara Plains, just south of Yubari Lake, regardless of whether players have the bounty or not. Head here and clear out the Yotei Six Camp to challenge One-Eye Moritaka to a duel.

Old Lady Yae

• Location: Arata’s Pond, Twin Ponds of Hidaka, Tokachi Range
• Reward: 750 Coins, Yae’s Cruel Brew Sword Kit

Old Lady Yae has her bounty posted up on the bounty board in Huranui’s Rest Inn, and players will be able to find her only at night. Once it’s nighttime, head north of the Twin Ponds of Hidaka, which is upstream of the Niikappu River. Then, you can find the bounty sitting north of Arata’s Pond.

Bear Man Chikatoshi

• Location: Shizunai Woods, Tokachi Range
• Reward: 750 Coins, A Beast’s Feast Sword Kit

Bear Man Chikatoshi has a bounty board in Huranui’s Rest Inn, but players can also stumble upon his bounty by heading to the Shizunai Woods, south of Huranui’s Rest. Players can actually find the bounty in this region, where, between the “I” and “W” in “Shizunai Woods” on the map, they will find a corpse by a tree. Investigate the corpse and battle the bear to summon Chikatoshi.

Iron Chuta

• Location: Niikappu River, Tokachi Range
• Reward: 1,500 Coins, Chuta’s Headwrap

Iron Chuta’s bounty will only appear after players complete “Desperate Remedy”, a Side Tale located at Moiwa Grotto, which is east of the Huranui’s Rest Inn. After finishing the quest, head to Huranui’s Rest Inn bounty board to grab the Iron Chuta wanted poster. You can find Iron Chuta by investigating the corpse found north of the Niikappu River, which is located just north of the second “P” in “Niikappu” on the map.

Junpei the Snatcher

• Location: Boar’s Eye Cave, Tokachi Range
• Reward: 750 Coins

You can find Junpei the Snatcher’s bounty by heading towards the Boar’s Eye Cave, which is in the north region of the Tokachi Range. You can find the entrance to the Boar’s Eye Cave just above the “S” in “Boar’s” on the map, and inside, you’ll find Junpei.

Inokichi the Hungry

• Location: Huranui Mill, Huranui Cliffs, Tokachi Range
• Reward: 1,500 Coins, Inokichi the Hungry’s Mask

Inokichi the Hungry is located at the Huranui Mill, which is found just north of the Huranui Cliffs by following the Nupur River north and upstream. This location is a Yotei Six Camp, and upon clearing it out, you can duel and defeat Inokichi the Hungry. This bounty requires no poster, so simply go to the location seen above to find him.

All Teshio Ridge Bounties in Ghost of Yotei

Houndmaster Toyotaro

• Location: Teshio River, Teshio Ridge
• Reward: 750 Coins, Toyotaro’s Fang Weapon Kit

The Red Crane Inn has a bounty board that demands the death of Houndmaster Toyotaro. Players can find Houndmaster Toyotaro on the northwest path from the Red Crane Inn, towards the Teshio River, specifically en route to the “H” in “Teshio”. Toyotaro will have a few cages at a campsite here.

Snowstorm Katagiri

• Location: Sarobetsu Forest, Teshio Ridge
• Reward: 1,500 Coins

Snowstorm Katagiri is located to the north of Sarobetsu Forest, directly above the Kitsune Altar found between the second “S” and “U” of “Sarobetsu” on the map. Be warned, Snowstorm Katagiri uses the cold to his advantage, so follow him towards campfires so you don’t freeze, but beware his ambushes.

Inagawa the Gambler

• Location: Bifuka Sake House, Teshio Ridge
• Reward: 1,500 Coins, The Gambler’s Spear Weapon Kit

After defeating the previous bounties in the Teshio Ridge area, head back to the Red Crane Inn and speak with Kojiro the Bounty Hunter at the bounty board. He will provide the Inagawa the Gambler bounty. Inagawa the Gambler can be found in the Bifuka Sake House, north of the Sakuru Woods, and east of the Teshio River. He’s located at the back right corner and can be challenged to Zeni Hajiki, and upon losing (because he is cheating), you can leave the building and be approached by a Settler to continue the quest.

Nameless Killer

• Location: Snow’s Blight Hideout, Teshio Coast, Tokachi Range
• Reward: 2,000 Coins, Nameless Death Sword Kit

New bounties appear at the Red Crane Inn, and the first is the Nameless Killer. Players can venture northwest to the Teshio Coast, where, in a cave, they’ll find the Snow’s Blight Shrine. Here, players must solve a puzzle to access the path forward to the Snow’s Blight Hideout, a Yotei Six Camp that hides the Nameless Killer as the final duelist. Here’s a quick solution to the puzzle:

• Pick up the torch and look left. Light the lanterns that already have a lit lantern on the cave wall above them. From left to right, that’s the first lantern and the third lantern.
• Look right and rotate the fox statues so that they copy the direction of the fox statues in the rock wall. From left to right, the order is: facing left, facing forward, facing right, facing backward.

Black Night Kubo

• Location: Black Night Duel Ring, Teshio Ridge
• Reward: 750 Coins, Black Night Kubo’s Mask

After claiming the Black Night Kubo bounty from the Red Crane Inn’s bounty board, players will need to find their target. Black Night Kubo is located in the Sentinel Forest, and they can find him between the “L” and “F” in “Sentinel Forest” on the map, at the Black Night Duel Ring. In order for Black Night Kubo to appear at the Black Night Duel Ring, you must wear black armor (Nine Tail Armor) and interact with the woodblocks. This Armor is acquired during The Kitsune main story.

All Oshima Coast Bounties in Ghost of Yotei

Wayward Oni Raiders

• Location: Lord Kato’s Estate, Matsumae Residences, Oshima Coast
• Reward: 750 Coins, Shiro’s Straw Hat

Players can only get the Wayward Oni Raiders bounty after completing Shiro the Swindler, a bounty acquired from Kojiro the Bounty Hunter in the Ishikari Plain after completing the bounties of that region. The Wayward Oni Raiders bounty can be started from the Matsumae Castle bounty board, and you can begin this quest by speaking to a Settler in the south district of the Matsumae Residences near Lord Kato’s home. This is a pretty lengthy quest, and like Shiro the Swindler, it isn’t really a bounty, but it counts.

Tadaaki the Terrible

• Location: Miyama Village, Tokuama Hills, Oshima Coast
• Reward: 2,000 Coins, Hunter in Twilight Weapon Kit

Tadaaki the Terrible is located at the Miyama Village in the Tokuama Hills. This is a Yotei Six Camp, so clear it of enemies to reveal the bounty target and duel him.

Shinpachi the Armor Thief

• Location: Kasuaga Village, Esan Inlet, Oshima Coast
• Reward: 2,000 Coins, Shinpachi’s Blush Armor Dye

Players can head southeast of Oshima Coast toward the Esan Inlet, where they will come across the Kasuga Village. This area is a Yotei Six Camp, and upon defeating teh enemies, you can challenge the leader to a duel, which completes the Shinpachi the Armor Thief bounty, even without the bounty poster assigned.

Eagle Eye Kondo

• Location: Esan Inlet, Oshima Coast
• Reward: 750 Coins

Eagle Eye Kondo has a bounty at the Matsumae Castle bounty board, and he can be found in the southeast area of Oshima Coast. Follow the path down to the Esan Inlet and then drop down the grapple point towards the shore by the sea, where you can follow the shore around to a cherry blossom tree where Eagle Eye Kondo awaits.

Iwa the Beautiful

• Location: Benton Port, Oshima Coast
• Reward: 750 Coins

Iwa the Beautiful is a bounty target that players can acquire from the Castle Matsumae bounty board. Afterwards, you can speak with a woman inside the Benten Port Gambling Den. By activating the bounty board, players can follow through the quest itself, which will eventually take them to a home in Benten Port covered in orange leaves in the south district.

A Brokered Trust

• Location: Matsumae Castle, Oshima Coast
• Reward: 1,500 Coins, Cold Blood Armor Dye

At the Matsumae Castle, players can speak with Kojiro the Bounty Broker at the bounty board after having finished 3 Oshima Coat bounties. Speaking with Kojiro will reveal that someone’s put a bounty out on his head, and now players have to complete a mission with Kojiro, which isn’t technically a bounty, but it counts towards the goal as if it were.

The Last Brother

• Location: Ronin Gravesite, Shojin Hills, Oshima Coast
• ​​​​​​​Reward: 2,000 Coins, Yoshitada’s Fourth Pearl Weapon Kit

The Last Brother is located at the Ronin Gravesite, which can be found just northeast of Shojin Hills by a tree with white leaves. You will need to kill the ronin along the path, where you can then visit the gravestones at the Ronin Gravesite to speak with The Last Brother and duel him.

The Tooth Breaker

• Location: Mad Goro’s House, Oyobe River, Oshima Coast
• ​​​​​​​Reward: 750 Coins

At the Matsumae Castle Bounty Board, players will find a familiar wanted poster, albeit with crudely drawn glasses. To start, head south of the Oyobe River to the coastal line to find a ronin, where you will then be directed south of Hakodate Shore to Mad Goro’s House. Continue the quest to complete the bounty.
