Something is brewing in Helldivers 2! It’s been awfully quiet since the Meridian Singularity destroyed Angel’s Venture. The players realized the gravity of the situation, and they now stand united while they try to stop the Singularity from causing any more damage. Rumor has it that players will finally go into the Gloom. According to some leaks, there’s a high chance that Helldivers 2 players will face some Predator bugs on that expedition.
Leaks Show Off Predator Terminids
One of the most prolific Helldivers 2 leakers, IronS1ghts, prepared quite a treat for players wanting to know what’s to come. This data miner shared: (Leak) Gameplay of Predator Bugs on Omicron. Upon death, they explode into a cloud of spores, which stuns everything around them and can deal a small amount of damage. The “Spore Burst” Terminids are a part of the Predator strain, which appears on planets in the gloom”.
Now, as for the terminology, these “Spore Burst” bugs are the previously leaked “Gloomed” strain. We aren’t sure if the Predator strain includes the recently added Stalker variant. However, the OP also shared some images of the Predator strain in-game. They noted: “(Leak) First look at Predator bugs in-game”.
Finally, the OP also revealed that these bugs were connected to a planet named Omicron. The description reads: “A Gloom-enhanced strain of Terminids has been reported on this planet. SEAF patrols have been lured into ambushes, and picked off by unseen assailants. Every ounce of a Helldiver’s superior senses will be required to hunt down this dangerous threat”.
Helldivers 2 Players Are Ready to Face Predator Bugs
Obviously, Helldivers 2 players love a good challenge, and these leaks of Predator bugs have raised hype in the community. So, naturally, they shared their excitement and praised the leaker.
MKUltra86 noted: “These bugs look crazy. It’s cool to see our enemies evolve. Can’t wait till we get the predator-style faction. Then we’re in for some real fun”. Mega Bloks T-60 added: “A good bug is a dead bug (ngl these designs are really cool)”.
Truth be told, we can’t wait to see what the developers have in store for us. Hopefully, we’ll find out very soon, as the clues from the first episode of the Chronicles of J.O.E.L show the Meridian Singularity quite close to its current position.
