To successfully finish Star Path events in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to figure out all kinds of vague hints and riddles related to the many villagers who call your town home. One of these tricky duties asks you to find a seafaring prince.
Even if you know the valley residents quite well, there are quite a lot of them, and additional characters move in quite often. Because of this, it can be tough to match up small details like this one with the right villager, so here’s who the seafaring prince is in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Seafaring prince in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The seafaring prince is Eric from The Little Mermaid in DDV. In this film, he’s known for enjoying exploring out on the open waters, which is how he first meets Ariel. In the valley, he doesn’t spend any time at sea, so this can be a bit of a tricky clue to solve if you haven’t watched the movie in a while.
There are lots of water-loving characters, and plenty who spend more time at sea, like Moana and Maui. For the purposes of this duty, though, only Prince Eric is classified as a seafaring prince.

Give a seafaring prince his favorite gift in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the give a seafaring prince his favorite gift duty for the Seafaring Star Path event, you need to give Eric three of his favorite items of the day. Each day, all characters have three desired items. This means you can easily get the full duty done in just one day as long as you fulfill all three of his requests.
To give Eric a gift, track him down around the valley, interact with him, and select the “I have something to give you!” dialogue option. You can view his daily items from this page, or instead find him under the Collection page to prepare the items ahead of meeting up with him.

If you don’t have some of the items he wants and don’t have an easy way to get them, you can reroll each of his selected items once per day. This gives you an additional three tries at getting easier items to gift. If those don’t work out, though, you’ll have to come back and complete this quest on a different day after his desired daily items have refreshed.
Completing this duty gets you 20 Tokens to spend in the event. Compared to most other quests, this one is a lot more rewarding, so it’s a great one to prioritize getting done as soon as possible so you can quickly unlock some rewards.
You get a decent prize for finishing this task, but you’ll still need more to claim all available event prizes. To stock up on some additional Tokens, consider checking off other Star Path duties next, like crafting a Helm Bookshelf for your nautical charts, giving a boy who never grows up his favorite gift, and feeding Sea Turtles their favorite food.
